| | {{Uxie|time=09:08, 11 August 2011 (UTC)|zoe=The best way to make sence with a KH1 re-make is to put that gummi found in Deep Jungle (in the original) in another world, which would be either Olympus Coliseum, Wonderland or Agrabah. The option of a new world to replace Deep Jungle is a maybe, but I doubt it will be a good idea, since almost every world was destroyed by KH1. |
| | |
| | I'm unsure about a KH HD remake, because there is already a major plothole with Deep Jungle, there is already a remake, and this will only push the inpaticene for new worlds. I'm already sick of Agrabah, Wonderland and Olympus Coliseum repeating the same plot. |
| | |
| | Still, KH1 will become a retro game if people are to hate the re-make, and you know how much people love retro games over the newer games (take Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, for example; fans prefer the classic games in both serieses. There will be a new Spyro game out soon, and already do people hate it. This remake will only boost the popularity of the classic KH1).}} |

| | {{AlVan|time20:32, 11 August 2011 (UTC)|text=Since it is, in a way, the same game, maybe Square would be allowed to use Deep Jungle again just this time. The limits in KHI will probably use the triangle button this time but that should be it.}} |

| | {{Uxie|time=12:11, 12 August 2011 (UTC)|luna=Doubt it. I bet those ERB inc would make them pay millions for just one more use, then terminate any alliance pernermently. |
| | |
| | And I think the whole idea of a HD remake is pointless. It will only make the classic games more popular and make the newer games hated, as proven twice.}} |

| | {{ErryTalk|time=13:01, 12 August 2011 (UTC)|kk=...what. HD remakes are not pointless.}} |

| | {{17m|time=13:43, 12 August 2011 (UTC)|text2= Yeah, especially when my PS2 is dead, and my Laptop's graphic card is too retarded for me to use PS2 Emu.}} |

| | {{LightRoxas|samus= I fail to see how an HD remake would make the newer games hated. If anything, it brings ''more'' fans to the series.}} |

| | {{Uxie|time=14:51, 12 August 2011 (UTC)|text=I guess you might be right. The reason why I'm being negitive is because I've seen the downfall for ''Crash Bandicoot: Mind Over Mutant'', and I fear the same for ''Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure'' (which is already panned by "fans", despite it not being released), but ''Black and White'' did great (and I have both versions). |
| | |
| | Maybe the HD remakes might add some new backstories and hints on the next generation in the series. Only two games remain for this saga, but what will be next. I just hope there will be no re-boots...}} |

| | {{AROS|time=19:42|text=The last thing Nomura would want to do is a re-boot of a series. If anything, he's probably going to be more enthusiastic about making HD remakes for all of the games he's worked on (well, except for maybe [http://http://kotaku.com/5910671/right-now-final-fantasy-vii-remake-isnt-the-most-important-thing one]). I'm all up for a HD remakes, the only things I'm concerned about are the same as everyone else's, namely ERB issues (thanks to John Carter of Mars, ERB will probably NEVER let Disney touch any of their stuff ever again), gameplay changes, FM issues, and of course, fan reactions. Also, I'm concerned about voice acting. Don't get me wrong, I love how HJO's voice is now, it's just I think the evolution of his voice helped make Sora appear like he aged a little more (That confused me so much on Re:CoM).}} |

| | {{Uxie|time=08:53, 25 August 2012 (UTC)|angela=''John Carter'' may be a flop, but it did get a strong audience outside of the United States (I went and saw the film, myself, and I've even got it on Blu-Ray... in 3D). It's supposted to be part of a trilogy; if there is no sequel, then you may be right about Disney losing the rights to ERB's works, putting the HD remaster for the first game in jeopardy. |
| | |
| | Since my last message, my views on a possible HD remaster has become more positive. I now fully suport one for KHII{{Uxie-TT|*|Can't wait to see Space Paranoids in HD, already}}, but I'm still concerned for the original, because of Deep Jungle's censorship. I've got two trilogies in HD (''Jak and Daxter'', and ''Ratchet & Clank''), and their plotlines, gameplay and whatnot are the same as the original version, only with trophies and (in R&C:UYA's case) multiplayer through the PlayStation Network. So it could be possible that the gameplay and plots of the KH games in HD would be exactly the same as with the regular versions (plus the trophies). |
| | |
| | I also support HD remasters for some ''Final Fantasy'' games, and I plan to get the HD remaster of FFX once it is released in PAL. I really want HD remasters for FFVIII and FFXII.}} |
| | {{ErryTalk|time=11:43, 25 August 2012 (UTC)|bayonetta=Uxie's right, John Carter does have a bigger audience outside of the US. I still think a KH1 remaster is possible as long as Square Enix is the one paying ERB for the use of Tarzan, not Disney... but I'm not quite sure how that'll work exactly.}} |
| | |
| | {{AROS|time=11:50|text=Ah, you guys could be right. ^^ It is possible for ERB to give the rights to Square Enix rather than Disney. Well, assuming they haven't given up entirely on letting anybody use their works, but that doesn't sound like a problem. It IS the same game after all. I would like to see some trophies in the first three games, assuming that they make another remake of Chain of Memories, but that would be a little redundant. I'm not sure if Days or Re:Coded would warrent remakes either, but I guess they could always give them the 3D treatment and put them on the 3DS, but again, Re:Coded is already a remake, so I wouldn't get my hopes up about that either. I'm very hopeful, but at the same time skeptical. We don't see too many remakes from Square Enix these days, considering how long it takes them just to advance the numbers.}} |
