I was somehow confused. Maybe he is the mysterious figure at the land of depature after beating vanitas remnants. But his dead never really was confirmed, right?. I always assumed he fused again with Ventus (so he did somehow with Sora). I think it's really ok that he's returning, so we maybe learn why he has the same face as Sora has as an teenager. ...also the unversed aren't just a "one time"-thing. Seriously. There's no way Vanitas could have suvived those battles with Ventus and Aqua. Where has he been for the past twelve years? I always assumed he is dead. Maybe he faked his death?
