Appendix
Someone please paste the previous forums as links here, so we can go through them to get an idea of how to build this."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 04:20, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
- This are the only ones I can find:
And lol for the current content of the walkthrough XD The17Master 11:40, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Wait, are we gonna make the walkthroughs spoiler-free or not? The17Master 11:49, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
- Good lord, no. Well, at least to the point that the KH1 DI walkthrough isn't going to say stuff like "IT WAS HIS SLED!" or "VANITAS IS VENTUS!" We won't go into the future events of the game, but story details relevant to the world at hand will be covered as appropriate. We're not going to make something that says "run forward five paces and press X" just to avoid telling the present story."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:56, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
- Can someone make a quick "wtext" template that wraps text (2) in color tags based on the texttype (1), such as "item", "enemy", etc."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:10, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Quick question, should we really be linking Ansem, SoD when we talk about the "strange, cloaked man"? I feel like it would be a good idea to have some sort of ruleset on spoilers for these walkthroughs.

I believe we shouldn't even link at all, since the identity of the cloaked man is revealed to be Ansem, SoD at Hollow Bastion, and we agreed to only write current stories, not the ones in the future.

We should seriously change the color for characters names, yellow on white background hurts the eyes too much. I suggest maybe orange or dark blue?

Si. Orange is better, as it is closer to yellow than blue.
Also, should we add images of the trio's new forms for Halloween Town and Atlantica to show that they take on new forms in certain worlds, or at least mention the change in appearance? I prefer the latter.

I'm not good at coding so I whipped something up using MSPaint:
Yeah, that's a design for the minigame template. Thoughts?

Criticism Constructive Analysis of the Walkthrough Page
Okay, since progress on the walkthrough has all but halted, I thought I'd start making a list of things that need to be done on this page. Feel free to add to the list.
- There needs to be a minigame template with room for strategies and/or tips for how to best beat it (see above for overall idea). AS IF!
- There needs to be more visual aid- possibly minimap images of each area or screenshots of key places (hard-to-find treasure chests or trinity marks, doorways or passages that must be followed, etc.). AS IF!
- Okay, someone said it was my fault the progress stopped because I made some critiques. Can somebody find whichever forum that was, so we can get this going again?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:31, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
- I saw that comment (don't remember where, though) and began the above list, hoping it would lead to some conversation. That was more than a week ago and only now was it noticed. I want to start this up again too, but if the talks about it just get ignored... that could be tough.
- And my above two points are the only things I really believe need changing, besides the creation of a Manual of Style for the walkthroughs (it kills me to see all the colloquial language in them, seeing as how these walkthroughs are meant to be reflective on the wiki as a whole- but that is up for discussion). -- AS IF! 02:46, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it should be somewhere in the forums. I don't have the time to look for it right now, though."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:06, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Seriously, guys, we need to finish this world's walkthrough before Christmas. It's practically "finished", other than a template that would, at this rate, will never exist. Until that template is completed, this walkthrough is under deadlock. We'll talk more here.

- So, I could have sworn I gave a detailed list of what things still needed to be done, but that was ignored so I'll go over it again.
- The start of each world's guide should list the items you can find in the world (with the room they are in), as well as all the enemies you fight (same).
- The guide should keep track of what room you're in, so that players don't get lost. There's nothing more annoying then having to go back to a familiar landmark and retrace the walkthrough's instructions just because it won't tell you where you're supposed to be.
- Boss strategies should not waste time giving generic advice like "damage the opponent" or "this boss is easy". They should focus on what the boss's attacks are, how to counter or avoid them, and when the best opportunities to strike the boss are. There is way too much fluff in the current strategies.
- Don't use lengthy parentheticals like "(you can repeat the duel as many times as you like to obtain a grand total of 99 Potions). ". Simply say, as a separate sentence, "you can rechallenge these bosses as many times as you like".
- There should be a separate boss box for the trio battle, and none of these should be tabbed, as they are not phases. They should probably use the code that hides the mass of the box, to keep it from taking up too much space.
- There are frequent problems with grammar and run-on sentences, like the first sentence after the Riku box.
- The Race with Riku minigame needs a simple rounded box around it. Just a box. I suppose we can use some nice fonts to spruce up the title, so that it appears with more of a Disney font like in the guides.
- Anything listing where items are should absolutely list the room.
- The boss templates need to be filled out as much as possible. There's nothing in the template that can't be retrieved from the article infoboxes or the guide.
- We should have a Table of Contents box at the bottom that will link the reader back to the main guide page, as well as the appendixes. It should probably look like those ones some users use to organize their userspace."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 06:16, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Exept for the first two and last two, it looks pritty difficult for me to handle. And how are we going to get a box for the race? That's the thing that started this deadlock. Besides, it's been awhile since I last played this game, so I won't be able to remember most stuff, plus I never got it 100% finished before. UxieLover1994 06:42, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

How's this for a Table of Contents? If it needs to be changed, just tell me. If you think it's too simple, then what else is there? Oh, BTW, Erry and I both worked on it.
