| [[Riku]] awakes within [[Castle Oblivion]] wondering where he is. He suddenly realizes it's the same place he was woke by a [[Ansem the Wise|voice]] 3 years ago. This time he sees a [[Door to Darkness|mysterious door]]. He opens it and ends up in the world he's all too familiar with: [[Hollow Bastion]]. With this world, Riku suddenly sees he doesn't need friends. All he needs is a true final fantasy.
