| In ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]'', the '''Dark Depths''' area of [[Hollow Bastion]] becomes the name of an area in [[Radiant Garden]] which contains a large cliff overlooking the remains of [[Maleficent]]'s old castle. The Dark Depths can be reached if one proceeds through the Great Maw, and it is also where the player has the option to face [[Sephiroth]] in a boss battle. When Cloud faces Sephiroth, their battle also takes place in this area.
