Game Over is a term used when a character's HP reaches zero or if they fail to complete a certain objective.
Description
When HP reaches zero sora will be knocked away and the screen will turn black showing Sora floating with his heart above him. The same animation occurs in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. In Kingdom Hearts II if the player fails to complete an objective such as letting Minnie Mouse be defeated or failing to defeat Demyx's clones in time will bring the player to the game over screen showing Sora standing up in with his arms crossed with a defeated look on his face. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days a heart does not float over Roxas when defeated as he is a Nobody and does not posess a heart. In the Mission Mode each character has their own special defeat look if they are defeated or abandon a mission.
