The Pain of Solitude (ソリチュードペイン Sorichūdo Pein, lit. "Solitude Pain") is a form of Roxas's Kingdom Key which appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Pain of Solitude+. The Pain of Solitude is a basic magic-oriented Keyblade, as it provides a strong boost in Roxas or Xion's magic strength.
Design
The handle of the Pain of Solitude Keyblade is pale lilac in color and sports two protrusions on either side that curve upward. The guard is comprised of two pale violet spikes that curve downward. The teeth are pale violet and resemble the top half of the Nobody symbol, albeit with two of the spikes being longer than the others. Pain of Solitude's keychain token is rose-colored and has a shape similar to the handle, albeit squashed down. The Pain of Solitude and Pain of Solitude+ have the same construction as the Missing Ache.
Gameplay
The ground combo is an upward slash from right leg to left shoulder, followed by an upward slash from left leg to right shoulder, and finishes by jumping into the air and performing a spinning slash. The aerial combo is a spinning slash with the keyblade on the right followed by the same spin except the keyblade is on the left side.
