The Platinum Match is a hidden match in the North American and European Versions of Kingdom Hearts and in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. It is unlocked at Olympus Coliseum if one clears the Hercules Cup. In it, the player fights the optional boss, Sephiroth. Because Sephiroth is inarguably one of the most difficult enemies in Kingdom Hearts, it is highly recommended that Sora be at a high level to defeat him.
In Kingdom Hearts the Platinum Match is a rewardless match - the only thing you do get out of it is a great deal of experience from defeating Sephiroth. However, in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, defeating Sephiroth will give you the One Winged Angel Keyblade.
