It appears as an incredibly powerful Heartless with great amounts of HP and high damaging potential in several missions. Throughout the game, the Zip Slasher appears as an enemy with incredible strength compared to Roxas's expected strength during the mission it appears in, usually at lease twenty levels higher and capable of completely draining Roxas's HP with one combo. The Zip Slasher is most likely expected to be defeated by the player when they revisit the mission once they are strong enough to hold their ground against the powerful Heartless. It first appeared before [[Roxas]] and [[Marluxia]] as an optional boss in [[Twilight Town]]. It is Also imunne to all forms of magic And their negative status efects so use melée attacks Against it. Also only use limit breaks when it is low on Hp or on it's last Hp bar.

This [[Heartless]] is rather small, about as tall as Roxas. Its armor light blue in coloration, it is basically a smaller version of the [[Dual Blade|Dual Blade Heartless]]. This would suggest that the Zip Slasher and its larger cousin are connected in some way.

== Strategy ==
The Zip Slasher is indeed powerful. It does not hesitate to attack, immediately lunging at Roxas. This tactic is easily predicted, as the Heartless's blades glow green, and can be avoided with careful timing of the [[Guard]] or [[Dodge Roll]] abilities. The Zip Slasher's technique is to do a powerful spinning attack, then lunge toward Roxas with its powerful sword-like arms. It should also be noted that the best time to attack this Heartless is when it pauses after each attack, which is about enough time for two combos. Despite its great amounts of health (a grand total of 11 HP Bars), the Zip Slasher can be defeated easily when the player revisits the mission. Also, the Zip Slasher will heal whenever it lands its powerful combo, which can make this a tiresome battle.
