==Design==
The Woeflower's Japanese name means "evil flower", which contrasts the [[Wheeflower]]'s Japanese name, as the two flower Dream Eaters are supposed to be opposites. Its English name refers to "woe", or "great sorrow and distress", emphasizing its negative nature and setting it in opposition to the Wheeflower; both the Woeflower and Wheeflower's names are also puns on the term "wallflower".

===Spirit===
The Spirit Woeflower's head is yellow with a purple arrow-shaped marking on its forehead. Its antennae have thick green and cyan horns with purple spikes scattered. The Whoeflower's "hands" are purple rose buds with a yellow tip. The heart-shaped bottom of its body, where the Spirit Dream Eater emblem is located, is a blend of cyan, yellow, and purple.

===Nightmare===
The Nightmare forms' horn spikes and heart-shaped bottom are now cyan instead of purple, with the latter sporting a white upper section. The rose bud "hands" are now black at the bottom, blue in the center, and green at the tips. The color scheme of the rose buds also carries over to the horns. The Nightmare Dream Eater symbol is located on its lower body.

==Strategy==
Whether as an ally or as an enemy, the main gimmick of the Woeflower is its ability to give the opposition with four negative status effects: {{c|Mini|status}}, {{c|Confuse|status}}, {{c|Poison|status}}, and {{c|Slow|status}}. The Spirit form also adds {{c|Sleep|status}} into the mix. It can also utilize attacks with the {{c|Drain|status}} status effect and help Sora and Riku by speeding up reload times of their deck commands with [[Attack Haste]] and [[Magic Haste]].
