==First Visit==

First of all, {{Wtext|Sora|c}} is required to do a dive.

DIVE: Traverse Town (S)

Once the dive is complete, a cutscene will begin in the {{Wtext|First District|l}}. {{Wtext|Sora|c}} will receive a new outfit and he meets {{Wtext|Neku Sakuraba|c}}, who will teach the player Flomotion. Follow {{Wtext|Neku|c}} into the {{Wtext|Second District|l}}, where you will be attacked by a hoard of creatures known as {{Wtext|Dream Eater|e}}s. Defeat them, and you'll be treated to a scene where {{Wtext|Sora|c}} plays with {{Wtext|Neku|c}}'s {{Wtext|Necho Cat|e}}. It is here that you will learn how to create {{Wtext|Dream Eater|e}}s; the one you are required to make is a {{Wtext|Meow Wow|e}}.

Once you are done, head towards the {{Wtext|Third District|l}}, where a man in a black coat will appear with {{Wtext|Neku|c}}. At this point, {{Wtext|Sora|c}} will fall asleep.

Once {{Wtext|Sora|c}} wakes up, head back to the {{Wtext|First District|l}}, where a prop will move out of place, revealing an elevator towards the {{Wtext|Post Office|l}}. Go through it, and head towards the {{Wtext|Fourth District|l}} where you will meet {{Wtext|Rhyme|c}}. She has lost her memories, so {{Wtext|Sora|c}} decides to take her to {{Wtext|Neku|c}} to see if she is his game partner. Head towards the {{Wtext|Fifth District|l}}, and defeat the boss.

BOSS: Hoctomonkey

Once the boss has been defeated, Sora is free to leave for one of the following three worlds: {{Wtext|La Cité des Cloches|l}}, {{Wtext|Prankster's Paradise|l}} or {{Wtext|The Grid|l}}.

===Riku===

Once {{Wtext|Sora|c}} drops, Riku will begin to dive into {{Wtext|Traverse Town|l}}

DIVE: Traverse Town (R)

Upon landing, {{Wtext|Riku|c}} will wake up in the {{Wtext|Third District|l}} notice that his outfit has changed. He meets someone called {{Wtext|Joshua|c}}, who seems to know {{Wtext|Sora|c}}. Your mission is to find a girl named {{Wtext|Rhyme|c}}, who may hold the key to reaching {{Wtext|Sora|c}} Follow him to the {{Wtext|Second District|l}}, where you will encounter {{Wtext|Beat|c}}, who's angry with {{Wtext|Joshua|c}} for some reason. {{Wtext|Beat|c}} will send out his {{Wtext|Kooma Panda|e}} to attack him; it goes after {{Wtext|Riku|c}}, instead. Defeat it, along with any other Nightmare that appears.

Once you finish the battle, Joshua will teach Riku on how to create Dream Eaters; this time, you are required to create a Komory Bat. Upon creating one, Riku will drop.

After Sora drops, Riku will wake to find a girl in distressed. The girl, Shiki, has been separated from her game partner. Head towards the {{Wtext|First District|l}} and protect her from a horde of Nightmares. After the cutscene, there will be a door near the café that mysteriously wasn't there before. Go through it into the {{Wtext|Back Alley|l}}, and you'll soon find yourself in the Fountain. Then head towards the Fourth District, and then into the fifth.

BOSS: Hoctomonkey

Completing the boss will result in a cutscene where you can see into the other Traverse Town. After this, Riku is free to vist one of the following three worlds: {{Wtext|La Cité des Cloches|l}}, {{Wtext|Prankster's Paradise|l}} or {{Wtext|The Grid|l}}.
