You begin your journey in your own home world: the {{Wtext|Destiny Islands|l}}. The first thing you'll see is a few cutscenes, before you encounter {{Wtext|Ursula|b}} attacking your raft. You can take the tutorial or go straight to the boss battle. The player has control of {{Wtext|Sora|c}}, while {{Wtext|Riku|c}} will assist you in battle.
BOSS TEMPLATE: Ursula
Once you beat the boss, you will watch a cutscene before gameplay resumes in {{Wtext|Traverse Town|l}}.
