I looked through the Ultimania and found that Young Xehanort borrowed Master Xehanort's power, but there wasn't any mention of possession. [[User:Xedrek|Master Xedrek]] ([[User talk:Xedrek|talk]]) 21:32, 9 March 2019 (UTC) | |||

:::I went through a translated diagram called the “Xehanort Experience Record”, and there was still no mention of possession. The closest info I could ascertain was that Young Xehanort utilized power bestowed to him by his future Robed Figure incarnation. :Yeah, that passage is adjacent to the claim of possession, but it doesn’t claim possession. Especially after the events of Kingdom Hearts III, the interpretation leans heavily towards Young Xehanort acting on his own volition, utilizing the power given to him by his future self. He ''harboured the power'' of Master Xehanort, but he wasn’t controlled by him. Master Xehanort wouldn’t need to regardless, being as Younger Xehanort ''is'' Master Xehanort. ::Mickey is recognizing that the person he's facing is ''not'' Young Xehanort, though. There's the eye glow and aura to boot. Young Xehanort wouldn't have been able to do anything of his own volition, because as Nomura states he is ''not'' immune to the time stop. Master Xehanort is inhabiting Young Xehanort at this point in order to share his power -- that's why YX can use a Keyblade during this battle, as Nomura specifically states. We don't have to use possession if there's a better word that doesn't imply it being against YX's will, but it's basically a consensual possession.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 18:19, 11 March 2019 (UTC) | ::Mickey is recognizing that the person he's facing is ''not'' Young Xehanort, though.
