The way I was taught, "n" before a b- or p- kana is N (kana) as "m". So, you get "Kumbira" and stuff like that. I assume we're using Wāpuro rōmaji as the standard, right? If there's something I'm missing, please explain. Thanks!<small>Glorious</small> <small>CHAOS!</small> 22:51, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

::See, I thought we were using wapuro because of how we do long and combination vowels: Hepburn_romanization#Long_vowels and Hepburn_romanization#Variations. On a personal note, I greatly dislike using Hepburn pretty much for that reason. To me, one of the best things about the Japanese language is how regular it is, and Hepburn manages to stuff English's randomness and seemingly arbitrary rules into that.

::Never mind. Looking at the wapuro rules again, "n" is always romanized as "n" anyway, so the m thing is just in traditional Hepburn, I guess. The only problem here, then, is whether it's worth mentioning (maybe as a notation in the article), that the romaji are pronounced as "m" instead of "n". What do you think?<small>Glorious</small> <small>CHAOS!</small> 23:15, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

The staff elections will be over in four hours, so please be ready with the other staff members on the IRC so that we can get this discussion done. I've opened up #KHWIKI-STAFF for the discussion, but I'm going to op you guys as soon as you arrive so that you can /kick any non-staff who try to sneak in. Once you guys reach a decision on the two ops, message DTN, Neummanz and me on our talk pages, and we'll show up to help discuss the Admin and Mod nominations. If you can't show up this evening, no harm done. Thanks! 15:04, 21 February 2011 (EST)

:Just to check: For Rampant, do you think "Lively" would fit the description? Also, is Vibrant a good enough translation on its own? 17:18, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
::With 2.8 and the upcoming releases, the itch came back...hope you've been well. And yeah, those translations seem alright to me.--Urutapu (talk) 19:27, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
Xaldin
For Zephyr and Moonglade, my interpretation was that Xaldin's lances were supposed to have a "Chinese" theme, due to the strong focus on pure-kanji names with no kana. Therefore, wouldn't the On'yomi for those two make the most sense? 18:27, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
:Nevermind, that's what you changed it to. Sorry. 18:28, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
