You didn't add the <nowiki>{{#if:{{{EMOTION|}}}|{{TALKBUBBLE}} }}</nowiki> stuff. What that does is that if, when the talk bubble is used, the parameter is used (EMOTION), a certain talk bubble is used (TALKBUBBLE). If you don't add them, then it's just two bubbles on the same page. Since the template didn't have the parameter limiter, it just copy-pasta'd the template onto the page.

Don't worry, it took me a while to get, too :P Just ask if you need more help.}}
