The problem, I think, is that unlike our sister wiki, The Keyhole, we do not have unlimited space for personal images. In addition, people used to upload images here and then leave the wiki, so the images would sit there unused and taking up space. One of our admins has already cleared all the unused personal images just a couple months ago, taking upon herself the job of uploading them all to Photobucket herself. I would like not to burden her with such a potential scenario again.

You are free to use non-KH-official images on the wiki, but, like SilentHero said, they must be uploaded off-wiki, like on Photobucket, imgur, or Google Photos. A special talk bubble template exists for using images not hosted on site in talk bubbles. If you have any other questions, be sure to ask SilentHero or me.

As for your template, you should place the code you're using now in that template, and replace your timestamp with {{{time}}} and your text with {{{text}}}.
