So we're not to have the game templates listing that Terra, Aqua, and Ventus as well as Vanitas and Master Xehanort appeared in these games, and not just Birth by Sleep, but we're allowed to have sections describing their roles in them? I understand the reasoning behind it, but this is very inconsistent, the way we're contradicting ourselves here. If we could please get to the bottom of this... I understand the secret endings aren't exactly "legit," but they are still character appearances, and why characters such as Roxas should be listed as appearing in Kingdom Hearts and its Final Mix, as well as Marluxia and "Ansem" appearing in Kingdom Hearts IIs opening. I'm not particularly on any side in this situation, but this could become very confusing or even troublesome in the future. If Terra, Aqua, and Ventus have sections describing their roles in the "non-canon" appearances, then Master Xehanort and Vanitas should as well, and the game template should be added to remain consistent. - 11:55, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

:The story sections are not meant to catologue simple appearances or mentions. They are supposed to be the direct history of that character. They should only be broken up by game as a frame of reference. That's why the contents of Mickey's flashback with Xehanort should be mentioned in the pre-KH, not the KHII.

Perhaps it is a preference of choice. Maybe because he prefers the gold over the silver. hope this helped. Xander19
Because silver looks better with white & blue, but not so much with Terra's brown & red clothing.Neo Bahamut 00:59, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

I found somethin' a little peculiar while I was playin' BBS: If Terra uses Ultima Cannon while in D-Link mode, his Keyblade will gain a glow similar to Critical Impact and/or No Name and will stay even after you've reverted. The glow disappears if he either uses the Shotlock again while not in D-Link, go to pause menu, exit the area or goes into a Command Style. Kaihedgie 03:47, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Uh... Alive?
What does it mean that he's alive in some shape or form? I know that he said "Sora" with Ventus and stuff, but... does that scene really exists? I mean, in the KH Series timeline. For example: Axel appeared along with Xion and Roxas who is supposed to be gone (Roxas and Xion are an exception, but Axel already fades out of existence). Can someone explain this to me?
Think of it this way. The LS is what was still left of Terra after being possessed by MX, it's a result of his will to protect his friends and the emotions that go with that thus being his Sentiments. People theorize that since MX will return it will be as new Xehanort thus bringing back Terra's body and soul. All that's left is his heart and that is what's left to find.
In other terms When Xehanort became a heartless and a nobody, one of the hearts become Ansem SoD and the body and soul became Xemnas. Looking at Ansem SoD's appearance it's clear that he was made by MX's heart, so what was left was Terra's Heart where could that have gone. or I mention the fact that ASoD went after Riku, a move which seemed to take influence from Terra, if Terra's heart was within the heartless than it can be assumed that it slipped into riku which would explain why riku could summon an additional keyblade for Kairi to use in Kingdom Hearts II. Also remember that Terra had light in his heart, if he was part of Ansem SoD then his darkness would have been purged with MX's influence leaving only the light.
Heart possession is something different from taking in one heart for protection or healing, the heart possessing the other over shadows the other, thus the possessed heart is still there just beneath the other one. This is what happened to both Terra and Riku giving them a further connection thus the later theory is more probable I hope this helped.
Xander19
Also, where does the Guardian figure into the whole multi-heart fiasco?
I know Terra's alive. I want an explanation on whether the scene is canon in the timeline or not
17master... the scene should be considered canon unless stated otherwise. The exceptions would be the secret endings of KH and KH2. and as for the person who didn't sign their post it has been suggested that the guardian is the embodiment of MX's darkness or heart as it were. I hoped this helped. Xander19
That was me. I could have sworn I did, but oh well. The thing is, the Guardian is most definitely a Heartless, but if it were something like that, it would be an Unversed. Xehanort showed the power to summon Heartless before...but when you go inside Terranort's mind (somehow), Xehanort isn't there. That almost seems like Xehanort became a Heartless...before he became a Heartless. It's really quite confusing.Neo Bahamut 00:59, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
Unlocking Hearts
This has been bothering me since I finished the game. Master Xehanort says that Terra wasn't the one who unlocked Aurora's Heart. What's meant by this? Is it just a way of saying, "Terra was just holding the Keyblade, Maleficent is the one who actually did it" or was Xehanort or Vanitas hiding somewhere to unlock the Heart as part of their scheme? And is anyone else picturing them comically hiding on the roof or under the bed or something, waiting for the right moment to do it?Neo Bahamut 04:41, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
It actually was Maleficent who was doing it, she had him under her control rather than his own free will. -11:36, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
That's what I thought, but then why have Xehanort say such a peculiar line that far into the game?Neo Bahamut 00:59, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

Heart
Hypothetically speaking, as it was likely to be within The Heartless when new-Xehanort split into Ansem SoD and Xemnas. So it is probably in Riku(notice the similar fighting stance between him in KH2 and Terra) or it was purged with the rest of Ansem SoD but the chances of that seem slim as Terra's heart was never truly darkness and the kingdom hearts encoder explosion wiped the darkness from Riku's heart so the first theory is more probably. but then again for all we know it could have been sent into the lingering sentiment, it is far too early to even speculate where his heart is without any further evidence but at least someone is thinking about enough to put it up here so bravo to you for being the first to not mention terra as a whole for your question. and I will get back to you once 3D comes out. Xnader19(http://infamous.wikia.com/wiki/User:Xander19)

Actually, think of it this way:
Master Xehanort's heart is housed within Terra's, which is what created Xehanort (the Apprentice) in the first place. Now, at the end of Blank Points in Re:Coded, Yen Sid said that Master Xehanort would very soon return. If his heart is returning to his original body, that means Terra's heart will do the same.
(Also, on another note: Eraqus' heart is also within Terra's. If Xehanort is returning, Eraqus is returning as well. But of course, I can only speculate on these issues. 3D as well as 3 should confirm my own suspicions.) --Jacobmirror 16:55, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

But wasn't that how Xehanort took over his body?
By weakening  Terras heart with his own darkness?
And in that article it isn't even stated why Terra was using his darkness!

:Becoming vulnerable to darkness and being weak aren't quite the same thing. After all, Terra did defeat Master Xehanort in that battle, even if Xehanort planned it that way. Separate point, the CGI opening (and secret) movies aren't credible sources for canon.  -- 20:06, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
So what do you think does the panting and almost falling to the ground in the intro mean?
He is clearly losing and we know he almost used darkness in that fight.79.245.253.161 03:01, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
::Exactly. As we've already explained, he explicitly used darkness because he was losing. The series is very clear that submitting to darkness makes you physically stronger, and the game itself beats you over the head with "Terra is submitting to darkness for power." It would be an idiot plot if the darkness was obviously making him weaker. 07:27, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
and quips that he now "belongs to [Xehanort]",
*Mickey: Seven guardians of light? Well, for Keyblade wielders, there's me and Riku and Sora. And my three missing friends, that's six. Then the seventh would be...
**Mickey, Riku, Sora, Terra, Ventus, Aqua
*But Sora and another on your list belong to me now. And that puts you three guardians short.
**Sora and one of Riku, Terra, Ventus, Aqua belong to Xehanort -- meaning that Mickey only has four out of seven guardians. The "now" is also pertinent.
We know that Xehanort does not have Aqua or Riku, per AFP and 3D. It has to be either Terra or Ventus, and Xehanort is already known to have captured Terra. Ventus could arguably be said to "belong" to Xehanort as a package deal with Sora, but Xehanort says he only has one other on that list, not two. 16:14, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
Terra-Xehanort in 0.2 and the hands catching Aqua and Ven
In that cutscene it's shown that dark hands caught Aqua and Ven, but we don't see any Darkside in that shadow and the hands, more precisely the fingers, don't look like those of the Darkside, as the latter's fingers edges are spiky and the hands look thorny, but in this cutscene they don't look like any of that. <br>
But I think they could be Terra-Xehanort's Guardian's disguised in that shadow catching them, as we've seen Terra-Xehanort summoning a Guardian during his battle with Aqua, and we've seen another catching the protagonists (Ansem's catching Riku and Mickey in KH3D), this proves in fact the hands that caught Aqua and Ven are at least not a Darkside's but more like Xehanort's Guardian's. 14:33, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
