== Bald Mountain itself is on the realm in between ==
More specifically, near the Realm of Darkness, in the same veins as the End of Sea.
The reason why is because when check to the lists of worlds, you see that the Mystery Tower (the world that Symphony of Sorcery is on) is located on the realm in between. and when entering the "Sleeping world", you see that there's some books that sent Sora or Riku to different parts of the world, as if they were pocket locations of a sort. The various parts are actually neither near the Realm of Light or close towards the Realm of Darkness, and when Young Xehanort transported Riku from the Snowgleam Wood area, he was out of that and into the Bald Mountain, or at least, a Dream representation of the Mountain itself, as i could think that the Real Bald Mountain was separated from the Mysterious Tower and more close towards the actual Dark Realm. It could also show that when the "world" was trasported towards the End of the World, due to the darkness that Chernabog was made off, it managed to "save" at least his domain, but bellow the mountain was covered in a Darkness soo dense, none of his Minions could be able to exist. Despite that whoever, the Black God could have also had the job of vigilating the World Terminus, seeing how many worlds are close for the Dark World to devour those light worlds. the passage of the "Linked Worlds" are remnants of the previous worlds that fell to the darkness, and can only be accessed towards the Crater of the Bald Mountain. And while the bottom is just full of Emblem Heartless, in a way, once the words has been "purged" and Bald Mountain returns to it's original world, the passage towards the Realm of Darkness would still be in there, just no longer full of emblem heartless but of Chernabog's Minions, as well one or two other Purebleed Heartless as well.
