| :::EDIT CONFLICT:Also, VA's are no different than anything else. Also, "we don't need written proof" is a taboo phrase on the wiki. There always needs to be proof. And something that Nomura has done for so long, using the original theme songs for the Final Mixes, is not written proof, it's just something that he does. 02:14, January 1, 2011 (UTC) | | :::EDIT CONFLICT:Also, VA's are no different than anything else. | :::: Let me ask you this then. If Simple and Clean is not the theme song, then will they make an entirely new opening for a new song? | | :::: Let me ask you this then. If Simple and Clean is not the theme song, then will they make an entirely new opening for a new song? |
| :::::We all know that it will probably be the same opening, but there's. No. Proof. Again, who's to say the opening won't be different? 02:23, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

| :::::: And who is to say it will? But we both know that they won't so why are we arguing about it? Sometimes you don't need proof in order to know that something is going to happen and we both know that Simple and Clean will in fact be the theme song. Written proof is definitely better than little proof, but sometimes it's just a given fact that some things will remain the same.

| :I agree with the anon. Even though we have a strict policy of not adding info without citations, and even though there is absolutely no solid evidence that "Simple and Clean" will be the theme song, and even though we have rock solid proof that trailers are unreliable as to the finished product, we should totally post that Simple and Clean is the theme song for BBSFM, and also that it cures cancer. 03:03, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

| ::Please tell me that was sarcasm. maggosh 03:04, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

| ::: I am pretty certain it is.
| |
| ::::Definitely sarcasm. A good example for "trailer music" is KHI's trailer. In the final release, was Destati the music used as the theme? no. And besides the first BBSFM trailer uses "Enter the Darkness" as it's music, how do we know that it won't BE the theme for the game? 03:28, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

| :::::.................you're joking right? Because it's a very bad joke if you are.

| What you are all missing and I should have said this to start with, is that Final Mix, any Final Mix, isn't about just bringing the English voices to the Japanese. The purpose is to give Japanese audiences the full North American and European version of Kingdom Hearts. And that includes the voices overs, the English version of the theme song, bosses that the NA and PAL versions of the game had but Japan didn't with several exclusive features as well. If English voice acting is a given then the English theme song is also a given because that's part of the product that Square Enix is trying to give to the Japanese audiences.
| |
| :The English voice acting isn't a given - it was explicitly stated by Nomura in the most recent interview. 19:13, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
| |
| ::: That's what I meant by a given, you idiot. What are you so lawful stupid that you can't even tell the difference? Oh yeah, you are an idiot and I don't mind saying so. You're all a bunch of morons if you need written proof for a theme song that was in all freaking versions of the stupid game. But of course you are not going to take that into consideration because it's your way and no one else's can matter can it? So fuck you.
| |
| ::::Wait, you're saying that "given" = "explicitly stated by the producer in a widely available interview"? But somehow that applies to your guess that Simple and Clean will be the theme song for BBSFM as well. Huh.
| |
| ::::Also, we use a lot of people's ways, but it's explicitly stated in our charter that we can never use your ways ("We will use every person's way, unless their username is OmegaWeapon13. Then we shall never use their way, for it is an abomination"). Tough luck for you, I guess.
| |
| ::::As for the second - no thanks, you sound like you'd be a bad lei. 22:04, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

| Ah, I remember you, didn't you do this same thing with the "Jesse McCartney is Ventus" fiasco? You know, what with the zero solid evidence and your argument eventually devolving into simple tossing of insults at everyone who doesn't agree with you? Good times. Anyway, the trailer is never solid proof, as has been explained several times. Your argument about that, in particular, doesn't make any sense; if a song appears in a trailer, that means the song will be the theme of the game? Like how Terra's theme and Fate of the Unknown played during the trailers for the original BBS, those were totally the theme to the game's opening! ...Wait...22:44, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

| By the way, the English versions of Simple and Clean are featured in Utada Hikaru's CD single 'Colors'. It should probably get listed with the other albums. 24.4.217.89 02:45, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
