I think it would be better to split Peepsta Hoo's Scan from this page, since they act very different. The Scan ability only shows the enemy's HP, while the command scans the enemy's weakness, and changes the element of Flaw Dive and Feather Shuriken, as well as gives you specific magic cards in Flick Rush based on the enemy's weakness(?). Does that make it different enough to split? {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 16:44, 4 April 2016 (UTC)

:If the Japanese name is still Libra, I would say to keep it on the same page since it's still using the same basic idea from FF. The fact that Peepsta' Hoo's scan highlights enemy weaknesses isn't significant in my view since that happens in FF too. Giving you specific magic cards is quite a departure from the original ability but I don't see it as different enough to split. {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 16:50, 4 April 2016 (UTC)

::Another significant difference is that the Scan ability activates automatically, while the Scan command has the DE literally scanning the enemy before it has any effect. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 17:08, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
:::I'm happy to split it on the grounds of one being a passive ability and the other an active technique. {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 17:23, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
::::It's drawing more from the Scholar's use of Scan in games like FF3, or the use of Scan in FFX, but those and the normal "HP gauge" scan we've had since KH1 are still drawing from the same well. We've also had Scan expand into more roles before, like in Re:coded where it allowed Sora to see backdoors. It's not the same, for sure, but it's still recognizably the same concept, and I feel readers will be better served being able to easily compare the different manifestations. Also, just to be a pedant, Peepsta Hoo can still use Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga before using Scan, Scan just heightens the probability of the useful cards showing up.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 21:54, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
