It has been two years and the line about them being "completely separate worlds" is still on the page with a source that does not say that, as I showed on top of this page, two years ago. I still don't know why there is so much resistance to even discuss this topic, let alone have the wiki not claim that sources say things that they do not say. There is no reason that I can possibly think of not to just write what the source actually says on the page. :I can see two interpretations of the interview: when Nomura writes "it is not Shibuya (渋谷), but Shibuya (シブヤ)", what is the "it" he refers to?
:*If the "it" is Sora's location, then it clarifies that Sora's Shibuya (シブヤ) is not real Shibuya (渋谷), like the page states. Then, the claim that they are "completely separate worlds" isn't concrete, since it's the same spelling as TWEWY.
:*But the way the question is phrased, a reasonable interpretations is that the "it" refers to the world of TWEWY, clarifying that TEWEY Shibuya (シブヤ) is not real Shibuya (渋谷). This implies that Sora is in the real Shibuya (渋谷) – or, not in any Shibuya at all, but merely a place that looks like real Shibuya (渋谷). This invalidates the page in other ways.
:In my opinion, the interview isn't explicit enough to determine the name of where Sora is, let alone if it's the same place as TWEWY. I'm for striking "Shibuya" from the page altogether until further information releases. —Aid1043 (talk) 15:40, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
::I had a look at the interview text in Japanese, which is:
::そう見えますね。ただ、「すばらしきこのせかい」の世界に行くというよりも、「渋谷(1)」ではなく「シブヤ(2)」であることのほうに意味があります。また、ソラは「KH3D」でネクたちとシブヤで会う約束をしていましたが、今回の映像がそれと直結するわけでもありません
::One part that stood out to me was ただ、「すばらしきこのせかい」の世界に行くというよりも、, which could be translated as "However, rather than going to the world of "The World Ends with You",". This is followed by the part differentiating the two Shibuya spellings.
::Because of this, together with that last part about it not being related to Sora's promise in 3D, I think it is not the world of TWEWY.
::I'm also okay with removing Shibuya from this page completely, since it is quite unclear. 16:03, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
::This is just my interpretation, but I think it makes sense for Neku's and Yozora's Shibuyas to have the same spelling even if they're not necessarily the same, which is how I understood it. In both cases you can read the use of katakana as emphasizing the "Shi" part, since TWEWY and KH4 both present it as a "world of death". That's why the use of "104" is the same - 4 instead of 9 because 4 is shi, death. So Nomura is saying that what's important is that Quadratum has the same *concept* of "fictional Shibuya of death", even if it's not the same place. There are other TWEWY design elements in the map used for Yozora's fight too, although you can't really see them well in-game. To be clear, I also agree it's not *literally* the world of TWEWY, but at least going from the translation, to me Nomura does reinforce the connection here by pointing out the similarities, even if he clarifies "it's not *directly* connected". It's a more interesting and ambiguous answer than saying "no, they're completely different, don't think about it at all" which is how many people including this wiki page interpret it. There was also an earlier fan translation of the Ultimania which made it *seem* as if Nomura wrote Shibuya in kanji the second time - i.e., "Sora promised Neku he would meet him in Kanji!Shibuya instead of Quadratum which is Katakana!Shibuya", which would be simply a lie. But I've seen many people state that to be the case as well. ChielArael (talk) 06:01, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

There are a few typos under the `Kingdom Hearts IV` section: https://www.khwiki.com/Quadratum#Kingdom_Hearts_IV, though the current page is protected so I can't actually change it myself.

In the Kingdom Hearts IV announcement trailer, Strelitzia greets Sora as he wakes up and explains to him that he is in Quadratum. She describes it as being similar to an "afterlife" for them both. As a ball of darkness forms in the street and a gigantic creature appears from it, Sora rushes to the street to fight it, all while being observed by two beings in black coats.

:Done. Thanks for pointing that out. —Aid1043 (talk) 02:26, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
