It says only Destiny Islands and Hollow Bastion are the other worlds in all three games, but wasn't 100 Acre Wood in all 3 too?

Someone removed this info I contributed saying that ''KHII'' used the movie's plot, but this isn't correct. There's some references to the film (Hades using Hercules's relationship with Meg in his ploy, Hades falling into the Styx, the Hydra), but the main plot in this world is Hades using Auron to fight Hercules and reopening the Underdrome with Pete's assistance, tricking Sora into unlocking it. It's been a while since I saw the film, but I don't remember anything about an Underdrome, so I deduce it is something they made up for the game (and obviously Auron isn't in the movie, either). Also, Zeus and Mount Olympus are only mentioned in ''KHII'' while in the film the whole plot revolves around Hades wanting to take over Mount Olympus and overthrow Zeus. With all this in mind, I'm putting back the info I contributed. And as my contributed info already stated, Hercules already has his divine glow in the first ''KH'', which he attains at the end of the film. I.e. the world is set after the events of the film. {{Disneyvillainman|text=Under the characters section, only Herc, Phil, Meg, Pegasus, and Zack are listed. Shouldn't Hades, Auron, Pain, Panic, Cerberus, and the Hydra be listed?}}
{{KrytenKoro|They are on the [[Underworld]] page.}}
==The Games==
{{EO|time=13:45, July 16, 2010 (UTC)|hooded=So long ago it was decided that the games did not count as Heartless/Nobody appearances. But technically, they still take place in the Coliseum/Underworld. Thus the games should be taken into account in terms of the Enemies section on the article. I mean, in the "Somebodies" section, Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, and Sephiroth, as well as Hades and the Ice and Rock Titans, are listed, but they only are fought in the games, aside from Cerberus and the Hydra. Shouldn't the Heartless and Nobody list be expanded to maintain consistency?}}
{{TNE|time=13:48, July 16, 2010 (UTC)|text=As far as I know, yes, it should.

On KHFR we did the same thing, we went so far as to include every single Heartless/Nobody appearing in the Coliseum. The Enemy section would be huge, no doubt, but it also goes to show that there were some enemies unfit for purposes of the Games. Like the Atlantica Heartless, for example. The list needs meticulous preparation, but I'm sure that it'll give a comprehensive list of what to expect in general.

As for Heartless appearing within the ''area'' proper, we can subsection them.}}
{{EO|time=13:49, July 16, 2010 (UTC)|text=Also, we're planning on making the Enemy sections collapsable. That should help a little bit.}}
{{KrytenKoro|As far as the enemy galleries, I thought we had agreed to place the ones for each game on the pages for the games (though they need major cleanup anyway). I mean, the Enemy template lists such appearances as separate from Olympus Coliseum appearances, just like the Ultimania/Bradygames guides do.

In that respect, only the BBS bosses as well as Hydra, Cerberus, Cloud, and Hades should be listed in the Somebodies box. (So, remove Ice Titan, Rock Titan, Sephiroth, Yuffie, and Leon)}}
{{TNE|time=14:39, July 16, 2010 (UTC)|text=Wait, the BBS bosses do include Ice Titan, ''n'est-ce pas ?''

We have to decide on something. If we're going to lump all Heartless and Nobodies into their respective sections, I say by all means, do it. Provided that we state a section for Coliseum-area-specific enemies and bosses.}}
{{KrytenKoro|The Ice Colossus appears in BBS.

With the enemy cups, I personally think it would be best to have galleries like the ones here on the individual Cup pages.}}

== Preliminary Tournament ==

{{KrytenKoro|I found the seed listing in the Bradygames guide, so I started the page at [[Preliminary Tournament]]. Basically, any of the KH1 enemies still listed on this page should be removed (unless they are CoM enemies), since Cerberus is the only enemy that truly appears in Olympus Coliseum. The enemy articles should have the Prelim seed listing added to their infobox - make sure to check if the templates still display correctly, because I might need to fix it for this.

I'll try to get info on the KH2 Hades Cup listing as well.}}

*Beginner's Training (Mission 36)

*Champ's Challenge (Mission 46)

There are also a few that aren't listed for points, but are treated more like the normal cups:
*Mission 61: Games
*Mission 73: Games

The first three are obviously variations on Phil's Training, but do we want to consider 61 and 73 (Games 1 and Games 2) as full-fledged cups? They do act like it, at least.[[User:KrytenKoro|<small>Glorious</small>]] [[User_talk:KrytenKoro|<small>CHAOS!</small>]] 03:40, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

:Yes, I think we should treat them as cups. They have seeds and plenty of enemies. But do they have cups? I don't really remember. I might be able to play a holo-mission to find out, though. --{{User:LegoAlchemist/Sig}} 04:18, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
::61 and 73 are functionally the same as cups (though you have to holomission in order to redo them, like all other minigames in Days), but they are just called the "Games".[[User:KrytenKoro|<small>Glorious</small>]] [[User_talk:KrytenKoro|<small>CHAOS!</small>]] 04:42, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

:::When I said "cups", I was actually refering to the prize you win at the end...

:::Anyway, I replayed those missions last night and got a list of seeds and the enemies in them. I'll swing them by when I get to a decent computer. And, for the record, there are no "cups" as prizes when you beat them.

Rule 3 of the games states that no summoning is allowed; you must fight on your own strenght. This contradicts what Hades says in Birth By Sleep. His exact words were: Rule number 2: Combatants may call for back-up. Aren't summoning and back up the same thing, or am I missing something? Should it be mentioned?([[User:Bananaphone1996|Bananaphone1996]] 04:03, September 13, 2010 (UTC))

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but why does it say that the enemies from Days should be removed from the enemies sections?--Riot\AU 20:13, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

== Coliseum in the film ==

So I watched Hercules recently, and I noticed that the coliseum where Herc argues with Phil is actually situated in Thebes, not on Olympus so I was wondering if it is actually the Olympus coliseum like it says in the article or just a normal coliseum and the one in KH was just created specifically for KH.
What do you think? Should the article be changed?
:First, always remember to sign your posts via the signature button on the edit screen [looks like a scribbled signature], or typing <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> Now, onto your question... No. This article is named as it is because this is how the world is named in-game. Regardless of where the coliseum is actually located in the movies, the game trumps all. This Wiki is about the ''Kingdom Hearts'' series. Not the movies.--[[User:Xion4ever|<span style="color:black">''Xion''</span>]][[User talk:Xion4ever|<span style="color:darkred">''4''</span>]][[User:Xion4ever/Atelier|<span style="color:maroon">''ever''</span>]] 04:30, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
::What the anon is saying is that our coliseum is clearly located ''on Olympus'', clouds and mountain and all, and appears to be ''heavily inspired'' by the Theban coliseum. The article recently claimed that it was directly taken from the Theban coliseum, which is in error.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 19:58, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

== Worlds that are explicitly the same world but are renamed ==

*Olympus/Olympus Coliseum
Look, I know Olympus Coliesum was seen in a trailer for BBS, but that was over a year ago. And we haven't seen anything since then. I'm not saying that it won't be in BBS, but it could be possible. After all, they were supposed to have "Pinnichio's World" in 358/2 Days, but they cut that out.
*Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion (easier to differentiate)
{{Maggosh|text=But Pinnochio's World never appeared in any of the Days trailers; only in the issue of Nintendo Power. The source wasn't even official, I think; if it was true, then it would have actually appeared in the Japanese scans.}}
*Timeless River/Disney Town/Disney Castle
That's true, but still, a lot of stuff can happen in a year and if we haven't recieved anything about Olympus Coliesum in BBS since the trailer, then that should tell you something.
*Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion (caveat of the castle)
{{Maggosh|text=Yeah, it tells me they're still working on it and that they'll reveal more later.}}
*Monstro/Prankster's Paradise (easier to differentiate)
Really? Well I guess we'll just have to wait and find out what happens.
*Mysterious Tower/Symphony of Sorcery (caveat of the books)
{{Maggosh|text=Read and weep.
*Port Royal/The Caribbean
[[Image:Bbs OC zack.jpg]]
*Space Paranoids/The Grid (easier to differentiate)

There are a few of these that we have, through interpretation, decided are clearly delineated locations; alternatively, like SP and LoD, there's a clear line in the story where the nature of the world "changes". However, there are at least three where they are treated very explicitly as "literally the same world, nothing changed other than the name in this one game". I feel like we may have to merge those in order to have a sensical plot synopsis.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 19:52, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
Edits will be made accordingly.}}
:Olympus Coliseum is only the Coliseum, the Underworld, and a random town ''near'' Thebes. Olympus is the mountain, Thebes, and the Realm of the Gods, so they are different locations, like Monstro/PP, and HB/RG. The same applies to Timeless River/Disney Town/Disney Castle. We never actually see a location that is part of more than one of these worlds. I haven't been to the Caribbean yet, so I don't know how that works yet. Also, one of the loading screen social media things in KH3, mentions that Yen Sid can move his tower, which would explain it being part of Twilight Town in one game, and separate in another. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 20:01, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
::I'd have to disagree with the coliseum being separate from realm of the gods -- the characters make a specific comment about hearing the same fanfare they always heard from the coliseum, and hercules' plot in particular consists of him going back and forth between these areas. Really, that's the issue with the main three I'm asking about -- those that are easier to differentiate, you don't have the characters going back and forth, and honestly you barely have interaction between these subworlds. However, Disney Town has Minnie going back and forth to the Castle, Olympus has Hercules spending his time at the Coliseum but also (implied per dialogue) going out to do heroics in Thebes.
::For Mysterious Tower, I'm talking about the differentiation between the waking and sleeping versions. While the tower itself appears within the 3D world, the symphony seems to only include the musical books.
::I think we can pretty easily keep the other five separate, with some acknowledgement early on that it ''is'' the same world, but for the three in particular I think the plot would make most sense being interleaved.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 21:37, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
::: Got to The Caribbean today, and both Goofy and Luxord mention that they have been to the world before. So Port Royal = The Caribbean. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 21:02, 30 January 2019 (UTC)

== Settings and Areas ==
==New Areas?==
{{HOO|time=05:48, December 10, 2009 (UTC)|text=Is it just me or are the new areas of Olympus Coliseum in BBS? In the new scan of Olympus Coliseum, there is an image of Phil, Ven, Hercules and Zack in what looks like Thebes from the movie. On the bottom left of the Mysterious Tower scan, there is an image of Terra that also looks like he is in Thebes.

This would apply for all world pages, but I'm posting it here. I tried to write the section without dividing by game, but I got stuck on the very first room name. You see, the Coliseum Gates are called:
This would be amazing if they finally expanded the world into Thebes!}}
*Coliseum Gates - コロシアム前 (Coliseum Front) in KH
*Coliseum Gates - コロシアム:入口広場 (Coliseum: Entry Square) in KH2 and BBS
*Outside the Coliseum - コロシアム前 (Coliseum Front) in Days
*Outside the Coliseum - オリンポスコロシアム 広場 (Olympus Coliseum: Square) in Recoded
*Coliseum Entrance - コロシアム入り口広場 (Coliseum Entry Square) in KHX
So, we have two cases of Coliseum Gates, but with different Japanese names, two cases of Outside the Coliseum, also with different Japanese names, but one name is the same as one for Coliseum Gates, and one case of Coliseum Entrance, with a Japanese name almost identical to one of the Coliseum Gates ones. So, either we could remove all Japanese names from these sections, leading to something like "'''Coliseum Gates''', also called '''Outside the Coliseum''' or '''Coliseum Entrance'''", or we just organize it by game. I get that it is preferable to have one in-universe section, because the world doesn't change much between games, but with the inconsistent naming, it just becomes confusing or way too long. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 17:13, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
:An in-universe approach would be nice if the different games didn't sometimes completely disregard the previous games layout. Monstro's mouth in KH1 leads to both Chamber 1 and the Throat, while in DDD it only leads to Monstro: Gullet which isn't just a different name but a completely new area. Halloween Town and Agrabah also changes drastically between games that having one in-universe description trying to make all these areas connect and overlap feels a bit overwhelming and almost impossible. In those instances we'll have to constantly keep referring to that "this area leads to that area in that game, but not in this other game as it leads to this place instead." Also, regarding the Japanese names, I don't quite get the necessity to have them, but it is something we consistently do for all characters, enemies, worlds, abilities, items, and so on, so I therefor think we should keep them. My personal preferred solution is to divided them by game. - {{User:JTD95/Signature}} 21:44, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
:Any other members wishes to weigh in on this? I still stand by that they should be divided into games, but there should somewhat of an agreement before we start doing changes. As of now it's quite inconsistent across the world pages. - {{User:JTD95/Signature}} 18:30, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
::I concur, I think organizing it by game makes it substantially more readable, especially for worlds with maps. Generally, I'm in favor of sorting the sections by game order, rather than in-universe chronological order, since that gets weird for data-based, memory-based, and projection-based versions of worlds. —[[User:Aid1043|Aid1043]] ([[User talk:Aid1043|talk]]) 23:39, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
