Well Naminé was born from Kairi's heart while it was released from Sora's body. Because Kairi existed beside her she couldn't have been born with Kairi's memories. [[User:BozPity|BozPity]]

Given her knowledge that she is Kairi's "shadow", wouldn't it make sense that Naminé was able to piece together her past life as Kairi from her power over Sora's memories. In chains of memories, she says she is Kairi's heartless. Also, it is implied that Zion from the new DS game is going to be kairi's nobody, so obviously Namine is the heartless. She has also displayed heartless properties, such as emotions (which nobodies are NOT suppose to have) and a lack of concern for others (to begin with, such as tampering with sora's memories).

Although this would explain Xion, I don't think so. She says that she is her shadow, not her heartless. Shadow meaning just a part of Kairi. And she did show concern, and regret, for what she did to Sora. On the other hand, I have to point out that naturally formed heartless don't have that symbol. Xion is made up of Sora's memories and she only looks like Kairi because she is reflecting Sora's strongest feelings. Other than that, she really has no connection to Kairi at all, Namine is Kairi's nobody. Xion is a puppet of Sora's memories.

Namine does not specify that she is Kairi's Heartless. She merely says (In both the GBA and PS2 Versions of CoM) that she is Kairi's Shadow. This could very well mean she is either heartless or nobody, or something completely different altogether.
Also remember that because Sora has the power of light, Roxas has the power of light.

(First of all, please spell her name right, with "é" not "e".) I think Naminé's keyblade is [[Oathkeeper]] because....

1.) At the end of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Naminé turns Kairi's good luck charm (the keychain of Oathkeeper)into a paupo fruit trinket. That trinket is quite possibley the keychain of [[Kairi's Keyblade]]. If it is, her keyblade and Oathkeeper are counterparts, like Naminé and Kairi.

2.) The Oathkeeper represents the bond between Sora and Kairi, and Naminé, being born from Sora's body using Kairi's heart, is, in fact, Sora and Kairi.

...And all the fact and theories aside, it even looks like it would be her's.

I'm not sure if the trivia about Naminé aging should appear in the article. It's very possible the game creators just slightly changed her body shape so that she looked more like Kairi in the second game, not because she aged. Also, if that's true, Roxas would've aged too because he's young enough for aging to be visible and/or because his "somebody" aged like Kairi, wich doesn't seem true based on the screene-shots for 358/2 Days. Aqua, however, appears to be similar to Kairi in several aspects, and Xemnas was talking to Aqua in the Room of Sleep, so with Kairi out of the loop, Aqua is left, and it all fits. But I will avoid excessive speculation and wait until 358/2 comes out.

Promised Proof: Namine stated merely that she was Kairi's "shadow". I don't think she ever said she was a "heartless". Which would be impossible, by the way, since Kairi is a Princess of Heart, and cannot ever turn into a Heartless.

It's true that Naminé is sort of Sora and Kairi's "Nobody child". Then, kairi's heart went back into her body, making her whole, while Sora's heart, because it had Darkness in it, became a Heartless. Well, while the soul thing is a bit off (it's been very much explicitly said that it's the heart the soul belongs to which decides who is eligible to wield, and I always thought Namine is a reproduction of Kairi's body and soul through Sora), Namine actually should be able to use the Keyblade since Kairi very much has the ability to wield it. But, in ''Birth By Sleep'', Kairi touched Aqua's keyblade, meaning that she was to become a keyblade wielder. Since Namine was born from both Kairi and Sora, who can both wield the keyblade, shouldn't Namine be able to wield it too? Maybe it was because she didn't want to fight, so she never summoned it? *It is worth noting that Naminé is the only humanoid Nobody in the series who's name does not have an "X" in it. She is also the only Nobody whose name is not an anagram of her original self. This is made even more unusual due to the fact that Organization XIII found her. This may be because she is a very unusual Nobody. Tetsuya Nomura may also have done this to emphasize the fact that, although she is a Nobody, she is not part of the Organization. Under the Kingdom Hearts II section there is a mini section labeled as Capture that talks about Riku leaving Naminé in Axel's care. I was wondering if this is mislabeled or if something should be added to it, because as it is there is no indication of her being "captured" by anybody. == Naminé's birth ==
Why do people keep stating that "Naminé was born when Sora stabbed himself at Hollow Bastion"? This is wrong! Nobodies are born when a person loses their heart - Kairi lost her heart right at the beginning of KHI; This is when Namine would have come into existence. I imagine her powers over Sora's memories come from the heart of her somebody spending a great deal of time in Sora - but that's just speculation. However, it does clearly state in Ansem's secret report #9 "Naminé is a Nobody, created when a young girl's heart left her body." - Left HER body. :::I'm pretty sure Naminé wouldn't have existed AT ALL if it weren't for Kairi's heart being released from Sora's body. After all, when Kairi lost her heart, her body couldn't become a Nobody because she has no darkness inside her.
