| So, I was trying to read the Ultimania about item drops and than it pointed me to a page about Link Portals (the ones you can place for Streetpass). Maybe that's how rare spirits drop materials, when you battle them in a portal placed by someone else. (This would explain why the drop rate is only 4%). Could anyone who is better at Japanese check the Ultimania? {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 16:05, 12 April 2015 (UTC) | | So, I was trying to read the Ultimania about item drops and than it pointed me to a page about Link Portals (the ones you can place for Streetpass). | :What page claims that they drop materials beyond dying? That would make sense though.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 01:43, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

| ::Page 44 explains how to read the obtainment info for the materials, and one section directed me to page 65, which is about the Streetpass Portals. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 14:25, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

| :::No, I mean, where are any of the Rare Spirits claimed to drop synth materials? The only thing I can see listed on their pages is the Dream Piece they drop when they die. Is there somewhere else that says they drop things?{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 17:13, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

| ::::The table with synthesis materials does (page 49-53). {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 17:16, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

| :::::For those ones, the 4% are listed after "通信", as a "敵" type. The explanation talks about in case the subject appeared in battle portals received through streetpass.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 03:32, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
