I don't have much evidence per se, except that having read the Red Pyramid, and looking at wikipedia shows that the shotel is more like a scimitar than the blades he used, which are exactly like khopeshs [[User:Sapphowako|Sapphowako]] 16:17, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
