Here, Nomura discusses the English version of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, revealing some of the game's additions. Kingdom Hearts Media have translated the interview, which can be read below.

A: Yes, it will be released on September 7. Even though we've added many things, the story has changed a little. Mark Hamill will be voicing Master Eraqus, and the voice of Master Xehanort is Leonard Nimoy, from Star Trek. A new mysterious enemy has been added. It's terribly strong, so winning is an achievement. You meet it twice, and the debugger had to try twenty times before defeating it once.

Q: '''Is it stronger than the Vanitas' Sentiment?'''
A: We took a survey, and some people thought it was a little stronger than the Vanitas Sentiment, but others thought it was far stronger. Like the Lingering Sentiment of KH2FM+, its attacks are hard to predict, unlike Vanitas' Sentiment, which has movements that are fairly easy to read. The new enemy will use nefarious tricks.

==Special/Collector's Edition, Pre-Order Bonus==
Should it be mentioned in the article that Germany and France are recieving special editions of the game? It includes a new cover art, 2 art prints, and a 48 page artwork book. The KH Final Mix article mentions it's special edition, and the Days article mentions the slipcover case that comes with the Gamestop preorder. EDIT: UK is now confirmed to be recieving it. Only France and Germany get that?  Grrr.....still, I pre-ordered Birth By Sleep, and I live in NA, so I'll get....decals?  Rip-off!  I wouldn't both pre-ordering it if it wasn't Kingdom Hearts and I was sure most-all copies sold would have been pre-ordered.  So, I've pre-ordered it, and now I'm waiting....HELP! Well KoD i think that while you are waiting you should watch the BBS english preview's and play the other KH games that you have, however, if you mean what should you do as in buying it, go ahead with the Pre-Order, Gamestop said that we would only get stamps with KHD Pre-Order and we got an awesome looking reversible cover (they cheated meh!) so they are most likely going to do the same thing with the decals and BBS. Hope that helps!

Strategy:

Once again, your foe deals so much damage that you have little hope of surviving any of his attacks with little more then 1 HP remaining. But unlike the previous fight, there's no penalty for using healing spells here. Just don't expect your opponent to give you many opportunities to use them. He strikes whenever he senses a moments opening, such as the instant before of after you cast a spell or trigger an offensive command. Most of the game's most powerful commands take too long to trigger to be useful here. Use only your swiftest attacks, or give up on attack commands entirely and fill your Command Deck with recovery commands. You can often safely squeeze off a Curaga spell immediately after one of your opponents attacks knock you upward or backward.

The heart of your offense should be your Shotlock, which damages your foe and provides a crucial second of invulnerability, if timed correctly, allows you to avoid any of his attacks.
After you unleash your barrage, lock back onto your foe so you can see what he's doing. Use your evasive ability to dodge until he provides you an opening for another Shotlock barrage.
Using a long-range attack also protects you from some of your foes powerful counterattacks, such as slowing your movement while he moves at normal rate. Counter attacks like that make any sort of melee strike a losing proposition. Stick with your Shotlock and rely on Elixers, Megalixers, and Mega-Ether to ensure you never run out of juice.

Well we know that final mix is just the english version for Japanese gamers '''BUT'''!!! there on a few changes and you CAN get the secret movie on Beginer mode now and the only add ons that we know of are Ventus' dark Keyblade the new Armor fight and the Monstro arena and a new secret movie. thats all not too MUCH stuff. just 4 new things.

== Data Corruption ==

I turned on my PSP to find that my Trinity Archives were innaccessable and my System Data was Corrupted. I figured out the issue incase anyone else experiences it. You don't have to delete anything or restart the whole game. Your saves should be fine, all you need to do is beat the final bosses (with everyone) and your stuff will open up again. Edit: So apparently this wasn't a one time fix... It seems the corruption is specfic to the Final Episode, as I re-made that file today and re-experienced the corruption. I'm half considering just deleting my BbS data and starting over fresh, but I'd hate doing the Mirage Arena stuff (alone) again.
