He even has his own character entry in the Enemy Reports WITHIN the Journal. It appears this is Sora/Data Sora all over again in terms of whether we merge or not, but the game and even the ''Re:coded'' website treat him as his own character, no way affiliated with/a form of the Journal accept for what is seen early in the game and him being within it like Data Sora. I was going to create a new Data Riku article and move all information regarding him from this article to that one, but I thought we should discuss this first.

| All right. Further discussion has also shown he ''is'' the Journal. But it still seems to be its own entity. If it has its own entries, that definitely contributes to it having its own article, granted it has a major role WITHIN the Journal alongside Data Sora.

| As far as I can tell *SPOILER* Data Riku was given the memories of the journal, essentially making him an avatar of the journal. This would be why he says that in a sense he is the journal itself. He also mentions at one point that he doesn't know who gave him the memories.
