{{Flashpenny | I fail to see that. Last time I checked second-in-commands generally stay with their boss until the very end and don't go out and get killed first. In fact out of Maleficent's group Jafar was the first guy to get defeated (in the original KH). I'm pretty sure that either Hades or (much more likely) Riku was Maleficent's right-hand man.}}

I think Jafar was her right hand member for a number of reasons

1. Jafar is frequently seen talking to her.

2. Apart from Maleficent herself, he appeared to be the smartest.

3. In Disney shows and spin offs, these two were best friends, and even dated on one event.
