I'm taking out the bit that says Pandora's Gear provides the Organization members' strongest weapon, since that claim seems to be totally unfounded. Unless someone can explain it to me? Zero Gear seems to me to provide stronger weapons in practically all cases.  --[[User:Neumannz|Neumannz]] 17:20, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

:Statistically Pandoras Gear+ provides the highest attack boost for the Org Members. Example, Twilight Blaze+ has a base attack stat of 125, while Oathkeeper&Oblivion has a base attack stat of 110. EDIT: Even for Non Org members (like Riku) Pandora's Gear+ STILL gives them the highest base attack stat. The Zero gear allows the character to equip their signature weapon is all, and it also grants them access to their best combos. --Evnyofdeath 21:34, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
It's still too subjective a rating. Not to mention the fact that for many of them it's only the attack stat that's higher, and sometimes only by one point, coupled with the fact that the units give a higher stat boost for Zero.
In most cases there's too much trouble in calling something "most powerful", especially when there's so much variation, like with weapons. I'm not even sure it's alright to say Ultima Weapon is the "most powerful" Keyblade, especially in BBS.  --[[User:Neumannz|'''<span style="font-family:Gisha; color:#005400">Neumannz</span>''']], [[User talk:Neumannz|''<span style="color:black; font-family:Agency FB Bold">The Dark Falcon</span>'']] 23:04, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
== Skill, Loaded, images, and navboxes ==
Do the skill and loaded panels really not have the border?
Also, for the images that are named the same, but are used to represent + panels, can we upload copies and use the correct names here?
Finally, would it be possible to put the navboxes back on the bottom of the page? I get why they're there, but they really break up the article.[[User:KrytenKoro|<small>Glorious</small>]] [[User_talk:KrytenKoro|<small>CHAOS!</small>]] 18:59, May 6, 2010 (UTC)
:They do have the border, but ShardofTruth uploaded the panels that had more than one slot, so we didn't get new ones for Skill 1 and Loaded 1. Right now what's there is the symbol, not the panel.
:We can move the navboxes back, i suppose, but it means we need to add <nowiki>{{-}}</nowiki> for each section, or at least the ones with too many/too large pictures.  --[[User:Neumannz|Neumannz]] 19:36, May 6, 2010 (UTC)
== Help Me ==
Can someone please tell me which is the best gear that i should use in the game?--[[Special:Contributions/65.126.114.243|65.126.114.243]] 02:25, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
:Depends on where you are. I tended to prefer the Nimble Gear until I got to the bosses near the end, since it combos well and keeps the enemy staggered in the air, but once you can make it, the Pandora's Gear+ is very good. Especially against the final bosses. After that, and for Mission Mode, Zero Gear is the best gear overall.[[User:KrytenKoro|<small>Glorious</small>]] [[User_talk:KrytenKoro|<small>CHAOS!</small>]] 21:10, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

Here's an interesting piece of trivia. If one does not include Casual, Mystery, or Zero gears, the weapons granted by the remaining gears and the gearless weapons tally in at exactly 13 different shapes for every Organization character. Palette swaps count as one weapon shape. The only exceptions are Roxas/Xion who have 13 plus the Kingdom Key. [[User:Tzion|Tzion]] 02:08, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

¿Is there any Gear you start the game with, or wich weapon you use while there aro no gears available? --[[User:Lukethehedgehog|Lukethehedgehog]] 21:58, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
:Well... yes.

==Keyblades==
{{Giratinium|text=Should we attach the names of the resulting Keyblades to the Gears? For example, the Nimble Gear results in Leviathan as an actual Keyblade, Pandora Gear creates Omega Weapon, etc.}}
:The navboxes in the footer do that; there are about twenty weapons for each Gear, so it would be prohibitive to do it in the main text.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 22:31, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
==Navbars==
Wouldn't it be better to move the navbars at the bottom to each of the respective gear articles. I know navbars are meant to stay at the bottom but it makes sense to move each navbar beneath its respective section since it organises things more and some readers may not see the navbars at the bottom (which are extremely important in this case). {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 17:00, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
== Not sure if this belongs here ==
A couple of thoughts about this page. First, it might be worth it to add a section covering the gearless weapons, since those don't really fit anywhere else and there's a navbox of gearless weapons already anyway.
My second thought was that, while there's no precise patterns as to which gears grant weapons that are palette swaps or what attributes they specialize in, there are some general patterns that emerge for the Organization members (the non-members all follow a rather simple pattern of course). Some examples of this are:
1. The weapons granted by Skill Gear, Loaded Gear, Valor Gear, and (except for Roxas/Xion) Gearless only ever consist of 2 different shapes. Either there are 2 pairs of palette swaps, a trio of palette swaps and 1 standalone design, or in the case of Roxas/Xion, 1 pair of palette swaps and 1 standalone. These weapon designs are furthermore not used by any other gear.
2. The remaining 10 "basic" Gears, those boosting only a single attribute, are never palette swaps of each other, with 10 distinct designs for each Organization member. Furthermore, certain design elements appear to be consistent among these weapons which boost the same attributes (e.g. Air Combo weapons usually have a wavy design or a sharp curve with protruding spikes; Power weapons often have a toothed-like appearance like that seen on Laxaeus's Skysplitter or a structure that resembles its counterweight).
3. The 6 dual-attribute Gears (e.g. Crisis, Hazard, etc.) always grant weapons that are palette swaps of the 10 designs previously listed. Further, 1 of the 2 attributes boosted by these weapons is always shared with the weapon's palette swap. Other than Zexion (who seems to break numerous patterns for no reason), there are always 4 distinct attribute pairs among these weapons.
4. Weapons specializing in the same attribute or attribute generally share the same color scheme for a specified character (different characters can use different color schemes). With the exception of Zexion (and possibly Laxaeus), gears with the same icon specialize in the same attributes.
5. The remaining Gears all grant unique weapon designs (unless you count the Kingdom Key+) not used by other gears.
Again, not sure if this is worth mentioning in the article, but I thought it was interesting. --[[User:JeruTz|JeruTz]] ([[User talk:JeruTz|talk]]) 18:28, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
