| *I think we continue what we're doing already: Images of the gauges themselves. If a gauge is formatted differently on multiple occasions, we can create a gallery under each section.
| |
| *I'm not 100% certain on the number of enemy gauges...you just seem to have named the gauges that are in Kingdom Hearts II...I could swear there were others in the later installments. I think we should just double-check to be safe.
| |
| *Pardon my incompetence, but how would a statistics page be relevant to the content we'll be hosting here?
| |
| *In terms of "gauge" vs. "Gauge," look at the games. We should write in articles as the game does to maintain consistency.
| |
|
| |
| As I said above, as you go through condensing/adding sections, feel free to edit this page. Saves time when we make the necessary moves and redirects later.}}

| I apologize if this move seems sudden and uncalled for; revert if necessary. But we've been wanting to do something like this to deal with the various gauge articles for a long time. I started this in my userspace, and it received a lot of attention. Now it's time we finish the article up. The only logical thing to do in my mind was to bring it to mainspace. The gauge articles and sections of articles should be dealt with accordingly, possibly linking to this new page. - 01:21, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

| =="Gauges" vs. "Gauge"==
| |
|
| |
| :I think it's because it covers every gauge in the series, while those cover a whole race of one thing. A race is different from a mere gameplay element. And also probably due to each having a different mechanic attached to it, while enemies are all the same, their mechanic is to attack/distract. 19:06, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
| |
| It's similar to why we have an article called "Symbols" instead of "Symbol". Also, we're never gonna be linking to the article except via redirects. -- 05:36, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

| == Limit Gauge ==
| |
|
| |
| <pre>
| |
| The Limit Gauge is the yellow area of Roxas' HP gauge, only available in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Once Roxas' HP reaches the yellow zone, he can activate his Limit Break, as taught to him by Lexaeus. A Limit Boost panel increases the upper range of the Limit Gauge to 50%. The gauge will halve every time a Limit Break is used.</pre>
| |
|
| |
| The Limit Gauge section that was on the page was there for KHII. Is the yellow portion of Roxas's HP Gauge actually called the Limit Gauge? If so, how do we want to handle this (merge, what)? 06:34, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
| |
|
| |
| :The in-game tutorial for limit breaks does not give it a name. It calls it the "yellow range" of the HP gauge. -- 09:31, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

| I'm not sure of some of them can be sumed up as Damage Gauge or if they should have their own section. Anyway if someone has savegames before encountering any of these "story" gauges please send them to me. 21:21, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

| :Also the gauges in the Atlantica song minigames (KHII) although those may be covered on a separate mechanics page just for the songs in Atlantica (because at the moment, we have pages on each song but not a general page that details the mini-game mechanics of all of them). 19:12, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

| Should we reorganise this into "Recurring gauges" and then sections by game, like how we have on Prizes? 16:52, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

| Is the Charge gauge from the glider you're on when fighting Xemnas' dragon form the same gauge as the gummi ship Charge gauge? 16:47, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
| |
| :I don't know the gauges from the gummi ship, but the one you mean from the glider is this one, right? EDIT: Specifically, I don't know where on screen the gummi ship one appears or what it looks like, but it's almost definitely not in the top left corner of the screen, since that's where the score display is. -- 17:53, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
| |
| ::Yes, you're correct; that's the one I was thinking about. Although if you cut to 12:40], there's a Charge gauge that appears there, as well as a Left Cylinder and Right Cylinder gauge. These should be covered also. 20:51, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
