Edit: My earlier test was incorrect.  The actual damage increase that Critical has is Damage*2 + 10, and this is applied before enemy attack multipliers.  For example, in Olympus at the beginning of the game, with default defense, Large Body's stomp (2.0 multipler) does ((19-8)*2+10)*2 = 64 damage, while a Soldier's punch does ((19-8)*2+10)*1 = 32 damage.{{unsigned|100.16.211.188}}
