| == A couple things to note ==
| |
| "The second melody was first introduced in "Always on My Mind" and was first incorporated into "Dearly Beloved" in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories." I feel like maybe this line should be changed to say it was first incorporated in Kingdom Hearts II, since that is where it first appeared. The original Chain of Memories version was more or less a direct copy of the first game's version, and Re:CoM is when it got the Always on My Mind motif, which wasn't until after KH2 released. On a somewhat unrelated note, the HD II.5 version of Dearly Beloved is actually just a direct rip of the original KH2 version, not a rearrangement like most of the music, so maybe the II.5 audio file should be removed. - SDR152

| :The original Chain of Memories version actually did have the "Always on My Mind" section, just on a synth instead of the RECOM bell set (you can here it here). I'll go fix the HD2.5 one, though, I never realized that was one of the tracks that was lifted from the original. —<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman'; font-size:110%><span style="color:#9932CC">Aid</span><span style="color:#9932CC">1043</span></span> 16:22, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

| ::Ah, so it is in the original CoM. Odd then that any gamerips I've seen of the soundtrack seem to end before the song gets to that part. But I just booted up my copy to confirm. - SDR152

| Does anyone know if this version has a name? -- mikoto 07:12, 14 December 2023 (UTC)

| :Sadly, no. Not only were none of the cutscene arrangements in Melody of Memory released on an album, we can't even extract the song from the game files, since it's pre-rendered audio (so the voice lines and sound effects are "baked in" to the audio file). So, we have neither a name nor recording available to us. I did my best to document these tracks over at List of unnamed tracks (KHMOM). —<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman'; font-size:110%><span style="color:#9932CC">Aid</span><span style="color:#9932CC">1043</span></span> 15:46, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
