*KHI's was the basic theme.
*In Chain of Memories and KHII they added the melodic theme from ''Always on My Mind'', the song played when Sora seals the Door to Darkness with Mickey on the other side.
*Days has the most changes - it actually '''starts''' with the theme from ''Always on My Mind''.

There hasn't been any pitch change whatsoever ; all of them are on the same key (E flat). But how am I ever going to explain this in layman terms...}}

I feel like maybe this line should be changed to say it was first incorporated in Kingdom Hearts II, since that ''is'' where it first appeared. The original Chain of Memories version was more or less a direct copy of the first game's version, and Re:CoM is when it got the Always on My Mind motif, which wasn't until after KH2 released. Not only were none of the cutscene arrangements in Melody of Memory released on an album, we can't even extract the song from the game files, since it's pre-rendered audio (so the voice lines and sound effects are "baked in" to the audio file). So, we have neither a name nor recording available to us.
