:I wouldn't know, but I started a discussion here. Hopefully I'll get some replies soon. - Amaury (talk) 18:00, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
I took all these formulas from the KH Ultimania. Regarding Curaga, the "formula" is 相手の最大HPと同じ (=HPを全回復), which approximately translates to "equal to opponent's maximum HP (= all HP recovered)".  -- 18:38, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
:::Full description:
:::選んだキャラクターのHPを回復させる。『ケアル』での回復量はそれほど多くないが、パワーアップするにつれて回復量は増え、『ケアルガ』なら相手のHPを全回復できる。ただし、最大MPが十分に高ければ、『ケアル』でもHPを30近く回復させることが可能だ。
:::コマンドを実行してから実際に相手のHPを回復させるまでの時間差が大きいため、そのあいだに敵の攻撃を受けて魔法が中断されてしまうことが多い。敵から遠く離れた位置まで逃げてから使うようにしよう。

The correct equation for Curaga is Max MP + 36. That makes me guess the equations for Cure and Cura: Max MP + 9 and Max MP + 27 but I still need to test them. I figured them out the hard way, I had to get very low HP (at level 96) summoning Bambi and avoiding hp orbs that goofy and tarzan made the enemy drop (why there is no "Sora attack" in this game???). Then remember the current HP (usually 1), cast Curaga and see the new HP. Than use a weapon with +1 MP and repeat. I found a pattern: If MP = 8, HP Restored = 44; If MP = 9, HP Restored = 45, and so on. So I noticed that HP restored - Max MP = 36. So Max MP + 36 = HP Restored. ===358/2 Days mechanics===
I'm currently translating the mechanics of cure from the ultimania. This is what I have so far:
*Cure
:Recovery value: LV1: 0.5; LV2: 0.58; LV3: 0.65; LV4: 0.73; LV5: 0.8
:Invincibility time: LV1: -; LV2: 0.6s; LV3: 1.2s; LV4: 1.6s; LV5: 2.0s
:Reflects projectiles at LV5
*Cura
:Recovery value: 0.2
:Duration: LV1: 24s; LV2: 27s; LV3: 30s; LV4: 33s; LV5: 36s
:Recovers HP every 3 seconds
*Curaga
:Recovery value (when healing space appears): LV1: 0.3; LV2: 0.32; LV3: 0.34; LV4: 0.36; LV5: 0.38
:Recovery value (when in healing space): 0.6
:Size of healing space (radius): LV1: 1.8m; LV2: 2.1m; LV3: 2.4m; LV4: 2.7m; LV5: 3.0m
:Duration: LV1: 17s; LV2: 18s; LV3: 19s; LV4: 20s; LV5: 21s
:Time required to recover HP: LV1: 3.0s; LV2: 2.8s; LV3: 2.6s; LV4: 2.4s; LV5: 2.2s
I'm guessing the amount of HP recovered is magic x recovery value, but I'm not sure. I'll be doing Curaga later. 18:37, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
:EDIT: Added Curaga. I'm not sure what the best way is of putting this on the page. 18:07, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
Cure or Care
Something that's been bothering me lately is Cure's japanese name, ケアル. We've been translating it as Cure, but it might be more accurately translated as Care or even Careru (which isn't really a word, but "Sleepel" isn't either) If you look at other names, you have Panacea (All-Cure), Cure Potion, and Cure Sun with キュア, which actually translates as Cure, and Care Spray with ケア, which is closer to Cure's japanese name. Thoughts? 17:14, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
:The Final Fantasy as a section in their Cure_(ability) explaining this which makes sense to me. Maybe we could add a similar explanation on top of the page. -- 06:45, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
::That's a possibility, I guess. Still, for Cura and Curaga, they have the literal translations "Carera" and "Carega", instead of the "Curera" and "Curega" we have. 16:44, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
