| |
|

| ==Card System==
| |
| Okay, what I noticed is that all the OrgXIII members and Sora have to wait for the cards to reload before progressing, but Riku can automatically reload them. It could be because Sora lost his memory, though it wouldn't be the same case for other OrgXIII members. It could also be because Riku uses darkness, but other OrgXIII members also use darkness.
| |
|
| |
| So what's the actual cause of Riku not needing to charge his cards ? | .
| |
|
| |
| But then again, remember that the OrgXIII members can also manipulate darkness just like Riku ; why is it then that they have to charge their cards ? | |
|
| |
| I don't think that there is a story-wise reason for it. Riku's deck is pre-set for each World/floor, so because it's so small the design team probably did it for system reasons. Hyperwre_2.0 18:34, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

| |
| {{LapisScarab|time=04:19, 6 October 2011 (UTC)|text=As much as I love Escher's artwork, I don't really see the resemblance between the barely noticeable stairs in the logo and the stairs in Relativity. In the logo, the stairs all seem to be descending in the same way (as opposed to the impossible and contradictory ways the stairs in Relativity are arranged), and there's nothing actually on the stairs; the people walking upside down on the stairs is one of the most distinctive parts of Relativity. The trivia piece just doesn't seem quite accurate.

|

| Aqua honors her master's final request by using this method to recreate the world so that only she knew the structure and layout of it and that any unwelcome visitors would be "lost in oblivion" --Draph91 (talk) 20:46, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
| |
| :AFAIK, only Aqua knew the structure of this place, and how it was meant to work. The passages that led to Ventus, only she could know and access. Anyone else would be swallowed up, confused or otherwise frustrated from reaching Ventus. Think of when Xemnas orders the search for Ventus' body while in 358/2 Days. He fails despite looking everywhere he could access. | no I've read on here that was Namine's doing --Draph91 (talk) 20:46, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
| |
| :Give me the exact sentence or paragraph that suggests this is Naminé's doing, please... Yes, she actually does alter Sora's memories in the course of Chain of Memories. But the castle itself has memory-stealing properties, as evidenced with Xemnas and everyone else from the Organization who has been tasked with searching for the Chamber of Waking -- and the only one thing that is in the Chamber of Waking is Ventus' body. | |
| ::I'm pretty sure CoM confirmed it was Naminé's doing and I thought the reason the Organization members can't find Ventus's body is because it's hidden and only Aqua knows where it is and it had nothing to do with memory loss. 21:16, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
| |
| Well, it's hidden, but considering this is an avatar of Xehanort we're dealing with, who can come to even the most hidden of places just by teleportation / using the Corridors of Darkness, it'd have to be more than just hidden.... no? | :::CoM confirmed that Namine was reconfiguring Sora's memories; I don't recall it ever saying it was her fault they were loose in the first place, and "lost in oblivion" has a very specific meaning. So, unless Namine is Aqua in disguise... 13:40, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
| |
| : (late, but) In the Japanese version of Birth by Sleep, the way Eraqus describes the fate of visitors to Castle Oblivion is "訪れた者はすべてを忘却の彼方に失う", which translates as "visiting people will lose everything to the other side of oblivion". In this case, the word translated as 'oblivion', 忘却, is more specifically forgetfulness; i.e. people who come to Castle Oblivion will lose their memory. The way the English version has been cut down, along with how the English 'oblivion' can also mean a consignment to nothingness (and for many people only means this), results in the sentence sounding more like disappearances than amnesia.
