| :::Just because it's called a cloak in Re:CoM is not enough to overturn the fact that it's a coat. Calling it a cloak was an accident on the part of the producers. A cloak is a cape with a hood. Cloaks have no zippers and hang down the back. This article of clothing is NOT a cloak. It's a coat. A trenchcoat to be exact.MegaNerd18 22:38, June 17, 2010 (UTC) | | :::Just because it's called a cloak in Re:CoM is not enough to overturn the fact that it's a coat. | DiZ: The Organization will pursue you. Like a pack of hunting dogs, they will

| Did we ever stop to think that the coats are just there? Like normal clothes, to be found in a closet or folded away in a drawer? Just because DiZ pulls them out of his ass to give to Riku and Mickey doesn't exactly mean there's some mysticism at play. People pull items from behind them all the time, not just in Kingdom Hearts. You guys seem to be thinking a little too deep with something that may not have some mystical origin beyond someone just making them, and handing them out; like Xemnas, who's original wore the coat a decade ago, and then possibly upon becoming a Nobody, made more of them for the rest of the Organization. There could be some mysticism, or there could be none. Until we actually have more information, we can't really say, but that doesn't mean we have to give everything some mysterious origin. Sometimes, it's just clothes. Derekoe 05:15, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

|
| |
| Except that magic plays a massive role in Kingdom Hearts. The Black Coats are not normal clothes and clothing can be given special properties in KH (Sora's KHII clothing for example). You just said yourself that people frequently pull things out from behind them -- out of thin air/hammerspace. The cloaks could have come from anywhere in the same way the we don't know where the Keyblade is when Sora isn't holding it.05:35, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
| |
| :They are made of darkness, serve the same purpose as the magical Keyblade Armor, and have super-topological properties.
| |
| :What would make you think they could just be bought at the local Gap?<small>Glorious</small> <small>CHAOS!</small> 12:29, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

|
| |
| Why is the Black Coat not considered to appear in the original release of Kingdom Hearts when it is seen in its secret ending?
| |
|
| |
| GUD 9:08, December 24, 2010 (SCT)
| |
| :Because we don't count Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II's secret endings as official. Namely those secret endings are sort of like beta versions for KHII and BBS, thus non-canon. -- 01:31, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

| |
| Since this article is mainly about the black coat- it just mentions the shoes to finish off the Organization member's attire- I say leave it out.--<span style="color:black">Xion</span><span style="color:darkred">4</span><span style="color:maroon">ever</span> 01:11, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

| |
|
| |
|

| ==Battle with the Mysterious Figure==
| |
| I know that in Birth by Sleep any of the three playable characters can battle Young Xehanort, as is mentioned of the page, however canonically it doesn't really make sense for Aqua or Ventus to have fought him, as Aqua doesn't arrive back at the Land of Departure until the very end, when she changed the world to Castle Oblivion, and Ventus doesn't return until his confrontation with Eraqus, after which Terra tosses him into Destiny Islands - which he canonically leaves from to go to the Keyblade Graveyard. Thus, the only one who could possibly canonically fight Young Xehanort is Terra. How is this sort of canon vs. additional final mix gameplay usually handled here? (Levi657 (talk) 18:22, 5 March 2019 (UTC))

| :By referencing the Ultimania, in which it says that Young Xehanort did, indeed, battle each of them. Ref: Memorial Ultimania, Xehanort Experience Record. 20:01, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
