I have a few theories on that. A) The so-called katana hidden within it and faster swing speed my be a joke at the popularity of katanas as weapons and in general. You know, Katanas Are Just Better? B) It has a very spiky look to it and doesn't have much of a theme beyond spikiness. Like Roxas' hair maybe? Or C) it's a joke on joke weapons. Unlike the other weapons (ladles, sandwiches, light bulbs, etc.) this weapon isn't funny it's just plain cool looking. Does ロード really translates to ''Lord'' or does it mean ''Road''?
