Design
The Aegis Chain is a dull shade of silver and has seven diamond-shaped links. Each link has a five-pointed star symbol carved out of its center. One end of the chain is a thin ring, while the other is similar in shape to a fleur-de-lis and has a crescent on either of its sides.
An aegis is an ancient Greek collar or cape worn to signify protection by a religious figure.
