My theory has spoilers to im warning you before you read this.
First of all I dont think ventus has any sort of family resemblance to sora. so in simpler words i dont think he is related to him. When Vens heart was lingering around it found sora. then ven merged his heart with sora. and in kh1 when sora gave his heart so save kairi (therefore creating roxas) the process of the nobody creation only made half a heart which was a dark half. this half of a heart needed another half so it took vens light half heart. the light overpowered the dark and gave roxas the looks of ven. think about it its a pretty good theory. feel free to post why you think roxas looks like ven. id love to see everyones theories.
