The '''Shaman''' is an [[Emblem Heartless]] that is found in ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]''. The Shaman casts magic and is resistant to magic. Sometimes they are found riding on top of [[Living Bone]]s, another Heartless found in the [[Pride Lands]].


==Design==
The [[Shaman]] is a [[Heartless]] from ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]''. It appears in the [[Pride Lands]] and may be fought in the [[Olympus Coliseum]] tournaments. The Shaman casts magic and is resistant to magic. They sometimes are found riding on top of [[Living Bone]]s, another Heartless found in the Pride Lands.
A Shaman is a thin, monkey-like creature with predominantly black fur, except for the fur on its arms and its long, prehensile tail. Its hands, feet, and ears are all white, while its claws are black. It wears small, yellow and blue bracelets and anklets, as well as a dark red tunic over its upper body. Most notably, the Shaman wears a mask that covers most of its face, save for its ears and glowing, yellow eyes. This mask is mostly white with brown edges, orange and yellow markings in its sides, and a jagged mouth. It also has two twisted, sky blue horns on its top and a long, bent protrusion resembling a beard sprouting from the mask's chin. Its Heartless emblem is on the forehead of its mask, and it carries a staff known as the [[Shaman's Relic]] for its magic, usually holding it in its tail.


In ''Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix'', the Shaman's fur is mainly brown, save for its tail and arms, which are tan and white, respectively. Its hands and feet are black and its ears are tan. Its mask is black with sky blue and violet markings on its sides, violet horns on its top, and a violet "beard". The Shaman's Relic even changes in coloration to match, to the point that it is known as the Spell's Relic in Japanese.

The Shaman becomes invincible during the duration of a curse. When atop a Living Bone, the power of a curse is increased greatly, and can even take out a high level character if not careful. If a Shaman and Living Bone with a head spawn separately, then the Shaman will teleport itself onto the Living Bone and ride it if given the chance.
Shamans sometimes ride on top of [[Living Bone]] and is a deadly couple. A group of 5 members can be very deadly. Try to keep distance of it's curses and you will defeat it good.Also you can fight it where the Wild beasts are.They can cast alot of far away magic that can be dead on deadly and will take out about 20-30 health.Sometimes 10-15 but more.Be careful when it starts to glow blue which means that it's about to do a curse.One,Two or Three relfects should do them good.To try to deal more Damage on them Both,[[Living Bone]] and The [[Shaman]],You can do a reaction command.They will and sometimes(Without seen but rare)Might join back up together or if there already separated,then they CAN join together.Also,do be very careful when there really partnered up with [[Living Bone]].Like Ground Shaker's friend on top of it's body it will merge like the Shaman with the body to make it move!You can find then mostly in Savannah in that empty place with some in the air floating around annoying you.But BE CAREFUL.There curses are bad and then can be deadly.
[[Living Bone]]'s attacks covers a pretty wide range, so try to guard of defensively dodge it.


As mentioned above, a Curse while on Living Bones can be disastrous. The best choice would be an immediate [[Trinity Limit]]; however, this is not an option in [[Lion Form]]. It can, however, be a lifesaver in the 45th fight of the [[Hades Paradox Cup]], in which Sora must fight alone.

When defeated, a Shaman has a chance of dropping a [[Shaman's Relic]]
At close range, the Shaman will use its '''Claw''' attack and counterattacks with '''Blaze'''. At a long range, it uses its Blaze attack and counterattacks with '''Will-O-Wisp'''.
