Sark, sometimes referred to as Commander Sark, is a command program introduced in Kingdom Hearts, and originally taken from the Disney film Tron (film). He is a loyal enforcer to the Master Control Program, and sees no need for users. This puts him in conflict with Tron's goals of keeping the system running in service of users.
Sark is a villain in Kingdom Hearts II. He is the MCP's second-in-command. His first appearance is a villain in Disney's Tron (1982). Originally portrayed by David Warner, as was the MCP, he and his master are voiced by Corey Burton, who does a convincing rendition of Warner's distinct British voice.

By this time, Sark and his army of digital Heartless have conquered Hollow Bastion OS for the MCP. Upon the MCP arresting three Users abusing the keyboard, Sark is sent to capture them after they are sucked into Space Paranoids. While a squad of Strafer collect Donald and Goofy, Sark appears before Sora and intimidates him into complying by attempting to de-rezz Donald and Goofy. Meeting the MCP, Sark questions why they keep Tron around, as they do not have enough processing power to use a logic probe to search his code for for information on the DTD. They are alerted to Sora's group breaking out of the Pit Cell. Sark appears again at the MCP's hub when the heroes arrive to erase it to save Radiant Garden, where he and a squad of Heartless stand in wait. Defeated, Sark comments he could have made a great team with Tron, who knocks him out. The MCP empowers Sark with his own functions, causing him to grow in size. When the MCP is deleted, Sark fades away with him, due to sharing his functions.

Design
A powerful program who doesn't serve any user -- just the MCP. Commander Sark is pretty harsh to any program that tries to resist his master's power.
Sark, like Tron, resembles a grey-skinned human male under his grey armor. Like Tron's, his armor is covered with circuity, but his circuitry is red with an orange glow. The circuitry on Sark is also much more complex than Tron's and sports a "V"-shaped symbol in several places. Sark's helmet is attached to his armor and covers every part of his head except his face. His Identity Disk is attached to his upper back.

Personality
Description
Sark is arrogant and ruthless, seeking to derezz Tron for disobeying the MCP. He is loyal to the MCP and his vision of Space Paranoids, in which the system is independent of users.
Sark is a red battle program, designed to look like his creator Ed Dillinger, who also created the MCP. His voice is the same as his as well. Sark is the head of the game grid of the MCP. He trains programs to fight, and pits them up against other programs. He will do (or is forced to do) anything the MCP commands him to do. His primary weapon is a Data-Disc.

Origin
Story
Sark originated from the 1982 movie Tron, portrayed by late British actor David Warner (actor). He was the Commander of the MCP's army and overseer of the Game Grid. When Tron, his user Flynn, and another program, Ram, escaped the Game Grid, Sark was ordered to round them up. After a battle between Tron and himself, Tron's Identity Disk cut through Sark's head. The MCP restored him, giving him all his functions to stop Tron. When Flynn defeated the MCP, Sark was derezzed along with him.
Sark and the MCP are the main antagonists of Space Paranoids. Sark has been made a Heartless commander by the MCP, empowering him even more. Not much of Sark is heard of after his first appearance, where he electrocutes Donald and Goofy in front of Sora, and imprisons the three in the Pit Cell. Not long after their imprisonment, Sark is called up by the MCP and suggests that Tron be de-resoluted, but the MCP wants to keep Tron because the latter has access to the password of the DTD database.

His second appearance is at the boss battle against the MCP. The normal Sark is fought, along with his Identity Disk. Weakened, he tells Tron that they could have made a great team, but Tron flings his Identity Disk at him and kills him. Not long after, the MCP revives him and grants all his functions to him, causing him to enlarge. He is a second-hand enemy as his giant-self while you fight the MCP. Like the movie, Sark is defeated along with the MCP.

* Corey Burton first voiced Sark while doing an ADR loop in place of David Warner. He would also reprise the voiceover in the Tron video games. Burton loved the sound of Warner's voice so much that he would carry the voice over into Transformers G1 and Transformers Animated as Decepticon Shockwave; a ruthless servant only loyal to his powerful master Megatron, much like the relationship between Sark and the MCP.
