Sabor appears a final time in the Bamboo Thicket before being slain once and for all. Upon his defeat, one of his [[White Fang]]s was claimed as an Accessory Item.

When [[Sora]] first arrives in the Deep Jungle, he falls into a wooden tree house and meets Sabor immediately. Being too weak after the fall, Sabor takes a jump on him, but [[Tarzan]] comes to the rescue just in time.
Sabor is a large {{w|African leopard}} with a slender, yet muscular build. He has yellow fur; the fur around his mouth, on the bottoms of his paws, on his stomach, and on the tip of his tail is white. Sabor's head and legs have black spots on them, and his back and shoulders sport yellow-orange spots with black outlines. Sabor's eyes are yellow, and he has six long, black whiskers; there are three on each side of his upper lip. Protruding from Sabor's paws are sharp black claws.


==Strategy==
He then appears at the '''Camp''' in an attempt to kill Sora, Tarzan, [[Donald Duck|Donald]], and [[Goofy]]. He appears at the camp again after [[Clayton]] attempts to kill [[Terk]]. When Sora and his friends go to confront Clayton, they encounter Sabor one final time at the '''Bamboo Thicket''' and he is finally defeated and killed. Afterwards, the world's accessory is obtained, the [[White Fang]].
The only attacks in Sabor's arsenal are a non-elemental tackle and claw swipe. The leopard is extremely fast, as well, making him difficult to attack for extended periods of time.  


In order to defeat Sabor, Sora should rely primarily on his standard three-hit combo and attack only after the leopard charges at him. Sora should then be sure to [[Dodge Roll]] out of the way to avoid being damaged by potential counterattacks; he can also block Sabor's attacks with [[Guard]] to earn Tech Points. The outcome of Sora's first battle with Sabor is the same whether he wins or loses; during an extended period of time in the said first battle, Sabor may break the floor inside of the tree house, which leaves a hole that remains for the rest of the game.

Sabor is a leopard with mostly yellow fur, except for the fur around his mouth, on the bottoms of his paws, on his belly, and at the tip of his tail, which is white. Sabor's legs and head have black spots on them, while his back and shoulders sport yellow-orange markings with black outlines. His eyes are yellow and he has six long, black whiskers, three on both sides of his upper lip. He also has black claws.


During his final encounter with Sora in the Bamboo Thicket, Sabor jumps out of sight before reappearing in a different part of the battlefield. To avoid being hit by a potential surprise attack, Sora should Lock-On to the leopard just before he vanishes. Throughout this battle, Magic is Sora's best means of damaging Sabor when the leopard is too far away to be hit by physical attacks. It is also important that Sora heal himself regularly to help ensure victory; while Sabor's attacks are not that powerful they can be dangerous when combined with the leopard's agility.
==Strategy==
 
Sabor's attacks are non-elemental, forward dash that acts as a tackle with fangs and claws. If you stay in front of him, he will also be prompted to swipe you with his claws. His speed in battle cannot be matched, and his leaps across the fighting grounds allow his to make risk-free, long range attacks. Using [[Dodge Roll]] to avoid these lunges is the best way to protect yourself. After he charges, make sure to attack his with a three-hit combo, and then remember to Dodge Roll yourself out of the way, so that he doesn't have any more time to attack you. Using '''[[Guard]]''' against his attacks is occasionally a better option as it is easier to execute, with fewer risks, and it will give Sora more experience.
It is possible to skip the third battle against Sabor entirely. If Sora enters the Tent before fighting him, the subsequent cutscene{{?}} plays, and the leopard does not appear afterwards.{{fact}}

==Origin==
Don't fret if you don't get through the first battle—win or lose, the outcome will be about the same. However, do pay attention to the rest of your battles with Sabor.
Sabor first appeared in Walt Disney's 1999 animated feature, ''Tarzan''. While described as male in ''Kingdom Hearts'', Sabor's gender is ambiguous in the film, but is confirmed to be female by an interview on the movie with the supervisory animator, {{w|Dominique Monféry}}. In the beginning of the film, she hunts and kills [[Kerchak]] and [[Kala]]'s young son. She then goes on to murder the infant Tarzan's parents. Before Sabor is able to kill Tarzan as well, Kala comes to the baby's rescue.  


Many years later, after Tarzan has grown into a man, Sabor attacks him and his gorilla family at their nest. In an effort to protect the other gorillas, Kerchak engages the fearsome leopard in combat, but he is overpowered. Tarzan then joins the fight; he manages to kill Sabor and presents the leopard's body to Kerchak in a show of respect.
In Sabor's final battle (in the '''Bamboo Thicket''') he will jump out of sight, and jump back into the arena at a different location. It is impossible to keep an eye on his, so utilizing the Lock-On function is the best way to assure he does not get a surprise attack in. In all cases, if you have not trained Sora well enough, do be sure to heal often. If you send him flying, start using magic until he is back in striking range.
