[[Xemnas]] supported the Replica Program after seeing its potential to help [[Master Xehanort]]'s plans, ensuring [[Vexen]] kept working on the project. Subsequently, Xion (No. i) was essentially indistinguishable from a natural human, though she became unstable due to the influence of others. Using those two as my foundation, I worked to construct a number of nigh-perfect replicas, but just as they neared completion, my efforts were cut short. A vessel deemed unworthy of the program was instead given Riku's data to create the [[Riku Replica]]. Said replica shows the capacity to grow in strength by absorbing other lifeforms, such as Nobodies. Riku Replica shows vulnerability to Naminé's memory manipulation powers, despite lacking a normal connection to Sora, due to having a copy of the original Riku's memories. Being the first Replica to be self aware, he thought for himself and showed emotion.

The Replica Program's progress was severely derailed with the demise of Vexen; with the Riku Replica perishing in addition.
