As of ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]'', the Orichalcum was redubbed as the "Orichalcum+", while the new material {{nihongo|'''Orichal'''|オリハル|Oriharu}} took the name "Orichalcum".

==Design==
A basic Orichalcum is represented by a star-shaped, aqua-colored jewel. Its upper half is lined by five triangular spikes that alternate from large to small. Its lower half has two slanted spikes on either side and one diamond-shaped spike on its bottom. The center of the jewel is adorned by white sparkles.
 
An Orichalcum+ is represented by a large, aqua-colored jewel. It is more snowflake-like in design that a basic Orichalcum. Its top half is lined by five triangular spikes that alternate from large to small in size. The two smaller spikes fork into three points at their tips, and all five spikes are connected by four thin bars. Its lower half is lined by four slanted spikes, two on each side of the jewel. One large, diamond-shaped spike is placed on its bottom, and there are white sparkles decorating the center of the jewel. 

In ''Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days'', Orichalcum has a [[List of Synthesis Materials|Mineral material]] structure and is light pink in color. 

{{w|Orichalcum}} is a metal mentioned in numerous ancient writings, and was supposedly second-only to gold in value.
