Mowgli's power is channeled by the [[Book of Prophecies]] to create the {{khux|Mowgli & Baloo}} and the {{khux|Mowgli & Pals}} {{c|Medal|ucx}}s.

==Origin==
Inspired by the character from Rudyard Kipling's 1894 story collection ''{{w|The Jungle Book}}'', Mowgli made his Disney debut in the book's {{w|The Jungle Book (1967 film)|1967 animated adaptation}}, voiced by {{w|Bruce Reitherman}}. In the film, he is an orphan raised by wolves, but when the tiger Shere Khan returns to the jungle, he is forced to travel to the human village for protection. Along the way, he encounters many of the jungle's denizens and ultimately defeats Shere Khan with fire. Hesitant to return to the human village, he spots a human girl collecting water who lures him to the village.

Mowgli also appears in the film's {{w|The Jungle Book 2|sequel}} (where he was voiced by {{w|Haley Joel Osment}}, who also voices [[Sora]]), the {{w|The Jungle Book (1994 film)|1994 live-action remake}}, and the {{w|The Jungle Book (2016 film)|2016 live-action remake}}.
