Mission 71 in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days has Roxas prove his endurance in The World That Never Was.

Mission assignment[edit]

Summary[edit]

Herein we will determine your fitness for future missions by conducting an assessment of your combat ability. Prove your endurance by surviving for two minutes in the arena we have set up for you in the castle. Fight, or flee-but whatever you do, think fast.

Objectives[edit]

  • Survive for two minutes!

Story summary[edit]

Roxas must prove his endurance.

Mission walkthrough[edit]

By linking the Dodge Rush(L) panel to a Dodge Roll3, Roxas can roll between the advancing Dusks and Samurai with ease, without fear of being attacked mid-roll. Simply repeat this until the mission is complete. However, if you wish to fight, come back at a higher level. The Dusks and Samurais are at an extremely high level and cause havoc. You will start facing the Dusks first and at the second minute, the Samurais will start appearing.

Challenge Mission[edit]

Challenge Mission 71
Earn lots of munny!
Restrictions
No recovery magic
Grading
3 200 or more
2 180-199
1 150-179

Equip plenty of Hi-Potion or Elixir panels as you cannot use Cure Magic for this Challenge. While not required, it is recommended to also equip Treasure Magnet to help make it easier to pick up munny so you can get enough to earn all 3 Challenge Sigils (though you do not have to level it up). During the mission, focus only on the Dusks and avoid the Samurai Nobodies at all costs as they are too powerful and have too much HP which is only a waste of time. As long as you can earn enough munny before the 2 minutes are up then you should be fine.
