Axel is paired with Roxas for his first real mission. After the mission, they [[Hayner|observe]] [[Pence|three]] [[Olette|kids]] celebrating summer vacation, noting their strange behavior compared to [[Nobody|Nobodies]]. Axel tries to explain to Roxas that their behavior, particularly laughter, is because they have [[Heart|hearts]].

Roxas's goal in this mission is to defeat Emblem Heartless to collect hearts and obtain [[Heart Points]]. To maximize the Heart Points possible, he should defeat the Heartless while maintaining a [[chaining|chain]]. [[Shadow]]s and [[Possessor]]s, as Pureblood Heartless, will not net any Heart Points, but will help extend the chain.

When the mission begins, Roxas should head down the '''Side Street''' down to '''Station Heights''' and defeat three Shadows to begin a chain. Upon entering Station Heights, he should head up the slope, where he will battle [[Yellow Opera]]s and [[Possessor]]s. If possible, defeat the Possessors first to extend the chain. After defeating all the enemies, continue to '''Station Plaza''' to defeat more Yellow Operas and a couple [[Scarlet Tango]]s. [[Fire]] magic is ill-advised against the Scarlet Tangos with [[Fire]] magic, as it will heal them. Defeating these Heartless will clear the mission goal.

To fill the Mission Gauge completely, Roxas should travel to '''Station Heights''' and defeat all the Heartless on the way. Two Yellow Operas and a [[Dire Plant]] appear on the way towards the Side Street. Past the entrance to the Side Street is another Dire Plant. Back on the Side Street are two more Yellow Operas and a Shadow. The Yellow Operas are the last Emblem Heartless needed to fill the Mission Gauge.

Once the Mission Gauge is full, Roxas can return to the bottom of '''Station Heights''' to face a [[Bulky Vendor]], which is harmless and can drop incredibly rare items if defeated. If these Heartless are not quickly eliminated, they flee the area. To dispatch of the Bulky Vendor quickly, cast multiple Fire spells.

It is best to revisit this Challenge Mission once you have acquired [[Blizzard]] magic. This is the weakness of the Scarlet Tangos, and can take out more than one in a single cast. Cast Blizzard on the Scarlet Tangos, and earning three [[Challenge Sigil]]s should be smooth sailing.
