| The Malachite Bolero has a smooth, conical body colored turquoise with light-green swirling patterns, and has a Heartless emblem emblazoned on its chest. The top of its body flares outward and forms a jagged "collar" below the Heartless's spherical, pitch black head. It also wears a conical, turquoise hat that has a jagged brim and a thin, curled tip. Like many Heartless, the Malachite Bolero has glowing yellow eyes.

| Malachite Boleros are not difficult enemies. Like other Heartless in its family, they have low [[HP]] and defenses, and can easily be defeated if Sora is fast enough. Their attacks are telegraphed and can be easily blocked or dodged. If Sora wishes to fight at a distance, [[Blizzard]] magic is perfect as it destroys the magic circles and will easily kill a Malachite Bolero in a few hits.
