'''Luxu''' is a [[Keyblade Master]] who appears in ''[[Kingdom Hearts χ]]''. He is an apprentice of the [[The Master of Masters|Master of Masters]].

Initially depressed that Keyblade wielders could do nothing against the impending darkness, Luxu learns from the Master that there is a way to defeat darkness, who notes that it would require extensive planning and many lifetimes to accomplish.{{storylink|Quest 960: To the Race Track! Pt. 5}} Luxu questions the Master about the [[Darkness (character)|Darkness]]'s nature and its goal, but the latter that he is also unware of its true purpose.{{storylink|Quest 970: Pest Control Pt. 8}}

Luxu is instructed to meet the Master of Masters in the Foretellers' Chamber, where he is bestowed with a Keyblade containing the Master's own "[[Gazing Eye]]". Luxu initially misunderstands that "Gazing Eye" is the name of the Keyblade, but the Master corrects him that it is unnamed, and Luxu names it "[[No Name]]" in jest. The Master explains that the Keyblade containing the Eye must be passed from master to apprentice so that the Eye can see events pass throughout the ages, prompting Luxu to realize that the Master's [[Book of Prophecies]] was written with the foresight from this process. In order to prevent temporal paradoxes, Luxu is not to receive a copy of the Book like the other apprentices, but is instead tasked with protecting the [[Black Box]]. The Master entreats Luxu to abstain from the conflict to come and instead simply observe events. As for the Box, the Master instructs Luxu to never open it or reveal its contents, but at Luxu's insistent questions, he whispers the box's contents to him, shocking and perplexing the boy.

Upon seeing Data Daybreak Town being destroyed, Luxu knows that the Dandelion's time was almost up. While there he collects the data of one particular Dandelion wrapping them in a white cloak and returned to the real world lifeboat room and meets the Darkness strange that it wasn't apart of the whole believing the Darkness acting on it's own. The entity was surprised that a Master was still alive and Luxu explained he stayed because of his master remembering his role to look not touch and finally figured out what the Master of Masters meant approaching the lifeboat pods, but informs the entity that it wasn't for him and placed the cloaked figure inside calling it "the True Dandelion" sending it into the future.{{storylink|Quest 977: Darkness Looms}}

When the entity asks about the remaining pods Luxu retorts that it didn't read the book, but hearing that it wasn't interested he asked what the Darkness did want and the entity answered to simply expand. But Luxu was confused not understanding the Darkness as the entity felt the same about them as they trained so many wielders just to leave them behind wondering what was the purpose of it and Luxu retorts that even though he doesn't know what his master was thinking he can guess. And yet, he was sure his master despised the Darkness, upon hearing the entity's plans about accompanying "the chosen one" to the future and expand. Realizing that Darkness would follow him no matter where or when he went Luxu summoned his Keyblade.  

For personal matters, Luxu knew that Darkness couldn't be destroyed but knowing of his master's story he knew why the entity needed a vessel calling the entity's plan very sad. Then, told Darkness of his master's real plan; aware there are five willful Darknesses left and one was with the Union leaders he asked where the others were and the entity commended him for his cleverness telling Luxu the others are in the Data World as well. Seeing that the one he is talking to came to the real world with Maleficent and was in his way he fights the entity.{{storylink|Quest 978: What Comes After}}

After Elrena, Ventus and Lauriam were sent into the future, Luxu meets Brain aware he was a Union leader asking where the others were and hearing Brain's explanation. He asked if one of the remaining pods belonged to him but Brain said no and wanted to use them to save his friends, then live as long as possible to save as many as he could. However Luxu informs him even though what Master Ava said was true, the data world they were in was different as it was suppose to used to cage the Darkness and if the world falls there's no way to bring it back. Even more that the lifeboat was incomplete and when using the person needs a medium and the memories of someone who remembers them at their destination asking if Brain was aware.  

When Brain said he'll figure out something no matter long it takes, Luxu commends him for his smarts but was sad that Brain had one life to live. Then traveling through the Keyblade Graveyard with Black Box and No Name in tow; Luxu took Brain as his first vessel as he said "May your heart be your guiding key".{{storylink|Quest 979: The Final Battle}}

Having been instructed by his master to transfer his heart from one vessel to the next until the fated "Dark Master" appeared to reenact the Keyblade War, Luxu's final role is to become an ally of this individual, [[Xehanort]], and aid in his plans in order to continue to observe the future. Luxu’s entire existence within the timeline also provides the new Union leaders a waypoint into the future, using his memories and his [[No Name]] Keyblade as a medium.<!-- move to Braig

Braig's infatuation with the Keyblade is simply a cover used to join Master Xehanort and serve as his right-hand. With no knowledge of the future or the true extent of Xehanort's plans, Braig follows his master's orders loyally by assisting Xehanort when both serve as [[Ansem the Wise]]'s apprentices, becoming a Nobody in the process, and aids the villain in recreating the Keyblade War and completing Kingdom Hearts.-->

All of these characteristics are a stark contrast to the personality of his final vessel, Braig/Xigbar, a laid-back and outspoken seeker of darkness who aided Master Xehanort in causing tragedy to many, indicating that Braig and Xigbar's entire personality was simply a fabrication by Luxu to become a convincing ally for Xehanort and see his role through to the end.
