| The King of Toys is created by Young Xehanort from the darkness in Buzz Lightyear's heart, serving as a distraction while the Seeker of Darkness makes his retreat. The Heartless then engages Sora and his friends in the toy-filled arena, bombarding the group with missiles as well as coating itself in a massive tornado. However it is unsuccessful in its attack against the group and is defeated.
| | When Buzz is rescued from his clutches, Young Xehanort uses the darkness he extracted from the toy's heart to create a go-kart-sized Heartless called the King of Toys to cover his escape. |

| The King of Toys resembles a large, purple toy flying saucer. It has a false face on the front, which distracts from its real one on top. It has four antennae attached to the face-resembling pods on the corners on its top as well as four spring-attached cones sticking out of its bottom half. At the center of its bottom is a glass dome, and its Heartless emblem lies in front of its head.
| | It resembles a cross between a UFO and a truck. It has a false face on the front, which distracts from its real one on top. Its face is the only vulnerable part of this Heartless. |

| As the final boss of Toy Box, the King of Toys can prove rather difficult, especially on higher difficulties, so it is a good idea to have some cuisine effects active and have party members stocked with potions. Hero's Origin and Shooting Star are both good Keyblades to equip for this fight, with Hero's Origin providing strength for physical combos and excellent defensive capabilities in the form of Counter Shield, and Shooting Star providing a a formidable boost to magic, as well as impressive damage output with Double Arrowguns provided the King of Toys stays still. Switching between Keyblades as the situation sees fit will likely prove useful.

| While the King of Toys deals considerable damage with many of its attacks, they are also quite easy to react to and guard against. For its Rush attack, note when it backs up, then guard when it charges at you. If you are on top of the enemy while it unleashes its Missile attack, guarding is a possibility, although it is safer to get off and evade the attack with a combination of dodge rolls, air slides, and guards, it may also be a good idea to use the blocks and buildings as cover. On Critical Mode the missiles are especially devastating as just two hits can reduce HP to 0, so try to quickly use Aerial Recovery if you get hit. Electromagnetic Gun is one of its most dangerous attacks, especially on Critical Mode as it will most likely deliver a one-hit kill if the attack connects, however it can be evaded by either a well timed guard, or by air sliding out of the path of the energy lines. While Shock Barrier doesn't deal as much damage as other attacks, it can catch you off guard as the attack happens rather quickly, so be prepared to air slide away when you see the antenna flashing blue. Electromagnetic Tornado, while dangerous if you get caught by it, is relatively easy to counter, just guard when you see the tornado charging towards you.

|
| If you are having trouble getting on top of the King of Toys, try getting some distance from it, as being too close when trying to get on top of it tends to result in getting stuck under it. Situation Commands that appear in the fight such as Blaster Blaze and Rocket Ruckus can deal large amounts of damage on top of normal physical attacks. With enough persistence, the King of Toys should eventually go down.
